The day had gone just like any other, the young boy wounder headed off to high school only to get picked on by a few upper classmen only to get back at them in gym when they played dodge ball. Lunch was no diffrent only to have to turn down some invites to friends houses for study groups for tests or meeting up at night for movies. " man for once I wish he would let me have the night off, just one night is all I ask" he said to himself as he sat there in his last class of the day only to get yet another homework assignment from a teacher.

The boy wonder sighed as he got back to the mansion," hello? I'm home" he said as he entered the house only to place his bag by the door as he removed his jacket and placed it on the coat rack" hello? dad?" he asked knowing that the man was not really his father but the boy wounder felt like he was his father in a way after taking him in after the death of his parents.

Bruce heard his sidekick come home. He stepped down the stairs, in nothing more than a pair of sweat pants. He was getting ready to train, and he often did it bare chested and with sweat pants because it allowed his movements to be more free and less restricted. "Hey there Jason. Hurry and go get suited up. Training starts in 15 minutes." Bruce said. He realized he didn't even ask how his day was, so to make up for it, he smiled at the boy, ruffling up his hair.

" suit up into what? sweat pants or shorts?" jason asked not sure what to wear since the trainer was different each time he trained with bruce." and can I at lest get a snack first so that I can burn off those calories other wise I'm going to go hungery" the boy said to the man only to have his hair be messed with by the man. " Did you even go see how your companies are doing? I checked for you and the numbers seem off in one department... " jason said as he headed to the kitchen to get himself a glass of milk.

Bruce was going to go into the elevator to the batcave, but he decided to wait for Jason. He followed the raven haired boy into the kitchen, leaning up against the doorway as he waited for Jason to finish his snack. "Robin, you know I don't run Wayne Industries anymore. I trust Mr. Fox with my company. He is a very wise and intelligent man. He won't steer it wrong." Bruce said. "I didn't want you to have a snack because Alfred is preparing a large dinner, but if you can't wait, then I have no other choice." Bruce said. He stretched his arms out, flexing his muscular arms and abs.

Jason looked at the man and smirked" you know I don't always have to train when I get home from school, you try and do a day with listening to people talk about dull things that you don't care about or that I have to tell my friends I can't go to a night movie because..." he said balling his hand into a fist onl to slam it down on the counter.

Bruce listened to Jason's complaints. He was clearly angry, but he had to learn to control that anger. "Jasom, you know how important it is for you to train every day. You have to be in peak physical form at all times." Bruce continued to listen to the boy's complaints. He sounded like a spoiled brat. "Remember Jason, you knew what you had to sacrifice when you chose to be Robin. Finish up and I'll see you in the batcave." Bruce said as he walked away and into the elevator.

" yeah but you were fine before me so why can't I have a night off?" he asked feeling like the man did not respect his way of a night off from having to be on the look out for bad guys trying to steel money or gems. Jaosn finished up his snack only to go and change into sweat pants then the black jeans he wore every day. Walking down to the batcave jason woundered why the man continued to play with the women of the city. The guy would use his charm only to vanish when ever there was a robbery.

Bruce watched as Jason entered the batcave. He didn't look happy at all. Bruce was quite disappointed in the way he was acting. Jason was never this negative. He was always light hearted and quite the jokester. Bruce picked up the boy's staff and threw it at him so he could practice with it. "Whatever is bothering you Jason, I want you to get rid of it right now." Bruce said as he started to punch the punching bag.

jason sighed as he caught the staff only to stand there feeling not in the mood for training now" sorry... " he said feeling not himself after being so bitter to the man who had taken him in as a son and cared for him all of these years. jason started to twirl the staff with one hand as he started to move twoards bruce.

Seeing Jason calm down, Bruce approached the boy. He didn't want to talk to him when he was angry, but now seemed like a better time. "Jason, I know its hard. Sometimes there are days where I want to quit and just live a normal life." Bruce placed his hands on Jason's waist while the other stroked Jason's cheek softly. "But you have to remember, if we don't keep up, innocent people will get hurt, and we can't let that happen." Bruce said.
