Barnaby walked with Kotetsu that evening talking about the other hero's. As Kotetsu got ahead of him, Barnaby called out to him.

"Besides, there is something I want to ask," said Barnaby as Kotetsu stopped and turned to him.

"Yeah?" Replied Kotetsu.

"The real reason why you called me today."

"Oh! Right!" Said Kotetsu as he reached into his pocket and extending his hand forward to Barnaby with a pin. "I've been carrying it with me the whole time, ever since I picked it up."

Barnaby looked at it with surprise and confusion as he looked at the pin and then the older man. "Something I am supposed to know?"

"Don't tell me...Your memory's still not completely...." said Kotetsu in fear as his body tensed and he took a step forward towards Barnaby.

Barnaby couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as he pushed up his glasses. "Just kidding. Of course I know what it is." He replied with his index finger pointing upward in front of them. "After all, it's one of my most treasured memories."

"Gah! You scared me to death!" Shouted Kotetsu as he jerked as he seemed to overreact. Grabbing the front of Barnaby's jacked, Kotetsu brought him to him as Barnaby struggled. "Prepare for your punishment!"

Struggling back and pushing the old man away from him he has a small scowl on his face. "What are you doing? Let go of me once in a while-!"

"Looks great on you!" Said Kotetsu as he finally released Barnaby.

"Old man! You could of just given me the pin and I could of put it on myself," sighed Barnaby as he pressed down his own coat.

Kotetsu chuckled mischievously, walking up to Barnaby and flinging an arm around his shoulders, steering him towards the market.

"In the hope of seeing you blush, I must admit that the pin really bring out your eyes."

[Ybfan]

Barnaby did turn a slight pink, but it wasn't due to Kotetsu throwing his arm around his shoulders. It was the compliment that Kotetsu gave him and he brushed off his arm.

"Come on old man I don't need your weight on me. You didn't even drink so you have no excuse to clinging onto me," stated Barnaby as he walked towards the market without the weight of Kotetsus arm. "But...thank you for the compliment though..." He whispered to Kotetsu and pushed up his glasses.

"Made ya blush, didn't I?" Kotetsu chuckled. "And now you're gonna say it was probably the chill. Even though there's no chill in the air. Hahahaha."

He removed his arm and walked with Barnaby down the largely deserted street. "You got any suggestions as to what I should get apart from the split grain rice? Any other favourite ingredients or anything? Like...carrots for the bunny?"

Barnaby was surprised that Kotetsu already voiced out the excuse he was rummaging through his mind, but he wasn't going to let him know that. "I don't care for carrots...but what about hamburgers to go with fried rice?" Suggested Barnaby as he looked at the old man and didn't realize that he was staring.

[Amethystaura]

The staring didn't go unnoticed, and Kotetsu grinned. "What is it? Like my stubble? Don't try it, it wouldn't suit your pretty boy face."

They'd reached the market, and headed for the grains, so Kotetsu could buy generous quantities of split grain rice.

"Burgers? Hmmm. In that case I'll buy less rice. And I'll take some sauces - spicy garlic, soya, mustard, mayo, sweet onion, curd. And a bit of vegetables to throw in the rice. And fresh burger buns. What meat do you want in the burger? Surely not rabbit."

[Ybfan]

"Who wants to have kittens on their face besides you, Old Man," sighed Barnaby as he stared straight forward and ignored him until they go to the market.

Inside he grabbed the basket as Kotetsu began to fill it up and he let out a chuckle. "Usually beef is just fine. Nothing too fancy for something simple...and could we add shrimp to your fried rice since that is the recipe you taught me?" Asked Barnaby as he picked up a package of fresh shrimp and ground beef.

"Awww, my kitty beard is cute, one only has to look at it and they'll go, 'Hey! Isn't that Wild Tiger's awesome beard?' Heh heh."

Kotetsu examined the shrimps and beef before tossing it in the basket. "Only the freshest ingredients for me. And how about having the shrimps in the fried rice, and making some beef tempura rolls separately?"

He went and stood in the aisle of beverages. "I'll get flavoured sodas for the kiddie girls and li'l Origami. For the adults, how about some beer? Though of course, you'll stick only to your rose wine. Which tastes too much like fruit juice, if you ask me."

Barnaby had a look of annoyance on his face when he looked at Kotetsu. "Be careful how loud you say that, old man. You are not wearing your mask and remember, I am the only one who came out to the public about my identity," he pointed out and picked up a bottle of rose wine as Kotetsu mentioned it. "Is there going to be enough room for everyone to sleep over tonight?"
