Out of curiosity...because I intend to post some fiction here...what's more favorable...Original work, or Fan Fiction?

If Fan Fiction, is it better to do AU, or not? What about Crossovers?

The two new sections you speak of, Original Works and Fanfiction, are two brand new categories in our Fiction Section.

Their titles speak for themselves. The Original Work section is for stories completely imagined where the characters, plot, setting, etc. come only from the mind of the writer. Please only post in this section if your story is wholly original.

The Fanfiction section is for written works that contain characters or other details from published works such as anime and mangas. If your story contains details from another, outside work, please post your stories in here.

I love fanfiction it's all I read. It's more fun because it makes my fangirl fantasies come true for my fave pairings. I can relate better to the characters because I have a sense of who they are from the manga or anime and I just prefer it too.
