James had a dark secret. While on the outside he looked like a normal everyday eighteen year old, high school senior, he really was different. You see, he had a crush on his best friend. His best guy friend since the two were literally in diapers. They had grown up together, and up until recently things had been great between them. Kevin would be busy getting his house ready, he set up video games, made sure they had plenty of snacks ready, and that he had the house all to himself, thought the last was most difficult, he managed to get his sister to finally move in with her fiance just in time for this occasion. Kevin really wanted to spend some solo time with his best friend, he felt like lately they were drifting apart and he didn't want that one bit. Kevin would smile as he heard his friend pull into his drive way, he would quickly rush to the door before realizing he was only wearing his sweat pants.

Kevin had two options he could go upstairs to his room and find something suitable to wear or to open the door and let his friend in, he decided to do that latter, after all it wasn't like he and his friend hadn't seen each other without shirts on, even less for that matter. Kevin would take a deep breath as he opened the front door and smiled as he saw James, he didn't really know why, but he knew something was up with James, and the fact he had to practically beg his friend to stay the night, he wanted to know fi he did something to upset him.

James grinned seeing him, "Hey Kevin, hows it going?" He asked walking in. He saw his shirtless friend and blushed. He couldn't help admiring his friends strong pecks, and abs. After a second, he realized he was staring, and blushed turning away. "So Kevin, whats the plan for this evening," He asked, making slight small talk as he looked around. Then, before he had a chancing to say anything, James ran up to the TV, looking at a video game he had put out. "Ahh, sweet, you have Injustice 2? Where'd you get this, its not even supposed to be out for two weeks."

Kevin would smile as his friend walk into his house he smiled, not noticing his friend was admiring his body, he was about to speak before he blinked seeing his friend run to the TV and look at the video games he set out, "Heh.. It isn't suppose to come out for two weeks, but I have a friend that tests the games and they get the first finished product, he gave it to me because I told him I was planning this big night with my best friend." he smirked. Kevin would do anything for James, hell he would probably break the law if it made the male happy, granted he knew James would never let him do that. Kevin closed the door and smiled, he was glad to see his friend happy, "So are you just gonna sit there gawking at it, or are you gonna let me kick your butt in the game?" he said cockily.

James growled, and took out the disk, putting it in the system. He then grabbed a controller saying, "You may have had this game before I did, but I beat your ass in Injustice one, and I don't plan to let that tradition die." He then plopped down on the sofa with a smirk, reaching over and grabbing a handful of chips out a bowl. He then turned on the system, and his eyes grew wide as he watched the intro. "Awesome," He said with a smirk. "I can't wait to get my own copy of this game."

Kevin would roll his eyes, he knew James was competitive, he always had been since they were little, granted most of the time Kevin lost just to let James feel better. However this time he was not gonna lose to James, he would grab the other controller and smirked, "Nah bro. It's the other way around. I'm the one that is going to win this time." he would say with a smirk, thought this game was the one thing Kevin really had to try to win at he wasn't going to just let his friend win. Kevin sat down next to James and looked at the expression on his face, he suddenly heard James speak and he quickly snapped out of his trance hoping he didn't miss something.

James smirked, and pushed start, selecting the fight mode, "Lets go," He said, looking at the various characters, trying to decide which one to play as. "Hmm, I think I'm going to go with, Batman," He said selecting his character. He wondered which character Kevin would pick. While waiting, he got up, going to the fridge and grabbed a can of soda, before asking, "Do you want some soda while I'm at the fridge?"

Kevin would smirk as he wasn't sure who to pick to fight batman, he would watch his friend get up to get a soda, he decided to go with his default plan and picked Superman. Kevin would smirk, "Yeah I want a soda." he was really paying much attention as he really just wanted to kick his friends butt already. Although Kevin did admit James was very good at making even the worst character the best fighter, he surely wasn't going to lose this time.

He nodded and grabbed another one from the fridge, shutting it. He then grinned, and decided to mess with Kevin. He got his soda, and began to shake it really hard and really fast. Then, trying to hide his smirk, he walked back and handed the can to him, sipping on his own. "Did you pick a character," He asked, before seeing his choice, "Superman really, he sucked in the first one," He said laughing, as he sat back down on the couch. He then pushed start and was directed to chose an arena to fight in.

James would watch Kevin pick the arena and just when he was about to open his soda, he turned it to the side and opened it, laughing as it sprayed all over James, "Nice try, but I already know that trick." he said cockily. Kevin snickered as his friends shirt was completely drenched in soda, he would smile knowing it would be the last time James tried to use that trick again, after all Kevin only knew because James always did that trick.
