Paranormal School for Outcasts (Taken)
Plot: High school for Paranormal Rejects
James was born from a long line of shape shifters. As a result, naturally he is also a shape shifter. Unfortunately, it appears as if he could only shift into baby animals which brings shame to his family. In addition, he doesn't like violence and killing and his family is in the assassin business so that just wouldn't do. In an attempt to 'straighten' him out his family sends him to Julivar School for Boys. It's a school where all paranormal rejects are sent so that they can learn to be respectable members of their species. Once arriving at the boarding school, James meets one of his room mates who goes by the name of Sully. He is a vampire who is terrified by the sight of blood. They immediately become friends and begin to put their things away when suddenly their remaining roommates enter the room. They discover quickly that the boys are brothers and that the reason why they were sent to the school is because of the fact that they are supposed to be pure elves but they thrive on violence and bloodshed. Just how are they going to survive this year together and will they ever become what their parents want them to be?
Warnings: Violence, swearing
Character One:

Name: James
Age: 700 years old
Physical age: 16
Species: Shape-shifter
Gender: Male
Sexual orientation: Bi-sexual
Sexual Position: Uke
Personality: James loves the fact that he is able to shape shift although he wishes that he could change into something other than baby animals. On top of that, he is unable to control his transformation at times so he often gets in trouble by being captured by someone at the zoo or someone at the pound. He believes strongly that he is an alpha and claims that once he grows older that it would become apparent although he rather submissive by nature. Despite that, the sight of blood causes him to become aggressive, something that he hates becoming. *
Character Two:

Name: Sully
Age: 2,340
Physical age: 22
Species: Vampire
Gender: Male
Sexual orientation: Bi-sexual
Sexual position: Clueless Seme
Personality: Sully definitely has the appearance and attitude of an uke usually, however when he gets into the bedroom he takes control of the situation. In addition, if those that he loves are in danger then can become rather vicious. Despite that, he is usually withdrawn and quite and tends to try and avoid the sight of blood. Instead, he would rather consume blood replenishing tablets to live off of instead of drinking the liquid.*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The sound of flesh ripping and bones twisting filled the air along with the sound of inhuman screams. Blood stained the cement floors as three onlookers watched the tormented with pleased grins. It appeared as if they were enjoying the suffering they were witnessing and it wasn't that far from the truth. After all, James had finally come into his inheritance and was experiencing his first time shifting into another form. Every shape-shifter had to deal with the pain of the shift once before everything became natural and painless.*
Flesh began to bubble before hair sprouted from the pours of James' body. They continued to grow and ripple before the sound of bones popping and breaking grew louder. Limbs began to twist and shrink steadily while his mouth began to grow, taking the form of a muzzle. Fingers curled in on themselves only for his hands to be replaced by paws. His ears melted away only to sprout up on the top of his head in the shape of soft triangles. Minutes passed until finally James slumped on the ground in a pile of fur. Everything seemed to be silent until a female hand reached out to turn the limp form over only move away.
"A wolf cub...He had to turn into a puny little wolf cub out of all the animals in the world! I'm ashamed to call him my son!" The female exclaimed with rage. The family was supposed to consist of shifters being able to change into killers, not into something that was fluffy and cute.
"Calm down love, I am sure that this was just a fluke. He's still young get so perhaps as he gets older he will be able to shift into larger animals." The woman's husband stated soothingly while their daughter, James' older sister, snorted in amusement. James hadn't really been paying attention to their words since he was more focused on how his joints and muscles ached more than anything else. If he had been paying attention he would have been disappointed on his family's reaction to his first time shifting.*
As the days passed he was taught how to shift in and out of different forms with ease but one thing always remained the same, when shifting into animals he always changed into their baby forms. To say the least his mother remained outraged with him and claimed that at this rate he would never be a suitable heir for the family business. Of course, that was just fine with James since he preferred not to join the assassin business like the rest of his family.*
However, as a year passed and there was no real improvement to his shifting abilities his parents finally decided to step in and do something about it. They looked for teachers to help get him to shift into more adult forms and when that didn't work they tried to torture the more mature forms out of him. Finally, when that didn't work his parents finally came to the conclusion that he needed to be sent to a school where paranormal outcasts went...they were going to send him to Julivar School for Boys.*
Meanwhile, a very similar situation was happening to Sully, a natural born vampire. After his birthday his parents decided that it was time to finally take him hunting for the first time. Reluctantly, Sully had agreed to go on the hunt almost to immediately regret it afterwards at the sight of freshly spilt blood. After that day he absolutely refused to drink blood and instead takes blood supplement tablets to prevent himself from becoming malnourished. *Normally, any other vampire would have been killed for acting in such a manner, but Sully is special. Because he is naturally born he has the capability of walking out in the day.
In a desperate attempt to make him 'normal' his parents also decided that it would be best to send their son to Julivar School for Boys.
Despite the fact that James and Sully were from two different backgrounds, it seemed as if they were destined to meet that Sunday morning during September as they dragged their luggage into their room that they would be sharing together. The fact that they both hated the sight of blood and violence seemed to cause them to become closer together, however their short lived peace is going to be shattered when their two remaining room mates were to make their introductions.*
Characters:
(Note that they are twins.)
Names: Ranal and Sevone
Physical age: 19
Species: Pure Elves
Gender: Male
Sexual orientation: Homosexual
Sexual position: Flexible
Personality: Both are sporty types but are very differing. Both thrive on bloodshed but then again in very differing styles.
Ranal: The more kinesthetic of the two, more competitive at sports that Sevone. More outspoken, but tends to tell half-truths, so there are quite a few secrets about him that no one other than Sevone knows about. He prefers bloodshed that is quick and painless, as he thinks killing is not meant to torture but rather as a means of transporting souls from one place to another. The Masochist in the relationship.
Sevone: The more academically-inclined of the two, more competitive at studies than Ranal. More introverted, but speaks only when spoken to, and tells either outright truths or lies. Tends to be very open only with Ranal. He prefers bloodshed that is torturous and can extract that most blood in the longest amount of time, as he thinks killing is meant to be as a form of punishment always preceded by torture first. The Sadist in the relationship.
-----------------------------------------------------------
The forest was quite clear. Ranal and Sevone looked on carefully. Today was to be their day of their induction. It was quite simple, really. Kill a troll, and orc and an ogre with the same silver arrow. That day was a memorable one, not only because both of them had killed their targets in one fell swoop after less than an hour of searching, but for what happened after.
Sevone could still remember it clear as day. They had found their troll, orc and ogre together, each picking off one. Then he could feel something spark within him, like a blossom of flame. He saw it too in Ranal's eyes. But Ranal's was a bright, burning red. Sevone's was a dark, depressing black. Then he felt his arm involuntarily load his bow with a normal arrow, walking towards the dead bodies of the orcs, agres and trolls, knowing what he would find.
There. The colony. There were hundreds of each, arguing, smelly and noisy. He could only remember his bowstring tightening, but he didn't aim for their vital points, where they would die immediately. He remembered firing at their pressure points, where they would feel the most pain and spill the most blood before they died. He had watched as he pulled arrow after arrow, sending the entire colony into chaos.
Ranal was no different, but he used his magic, swooping down on the colony. His bloodlust burning as a red flame in his hands, cutting through troll and ogre flesh, decapitating them, slicing them in two, watching them burn instantly without so much of a scream. Sevone stood, picking off the orcs, slowly, enjoying the tortured screams that he heard...
"STOP IT! BOTH OF YOU!" They did not hear the village elder, not until they felt the strong muscular arms of the elven guard pull them back. Even so, they were of comparable strength. Sevone's hands had whipped around with his knife, spilling the entrails of the guard. Ranal's magic knocked the heads of two more. Sevone had laughed, splashing in the blood and guts of one from his tribe, while Ranal just stood quietly, hands burning in cold flame.
Then, it was over. Their movements were sealed by the village elder. They were pure elves as deemed by him, but it was not of pure elves to relish in bloodlust and slaughter. Their parents were disappointed that they had bred two barbarian sons and had almost banished them, if not for the same elder, who suggested a place he knew of, where such desires came to die and people learnt their place.
Julivar School for Boys.
Of course, none of the elves knew then the relationship that had bonded both twins together, a bond so strong it was almost inseparable, except by death. They did not know the things both of them did together. They did not know of the evils that had lurked which caused their bloodlust: it was lust of a different kind, but no one other than the twins themselves knew.
It was an equally clear Sunday morning when both the twins strode into their room, head still thinking about none other than that same even which brought them to this accursed school. Ranal could still see the black tongues of flame licking the walls of Sevone's heart, and Sevone could still make out the light from bright red flames that illuminated Ranal's dark pupils. It was a secret they shared as twins, but day by day the difference in colour made them realise the difference in their mannerisms.
There were two people already there: one a messy-haired boy seemingly younger than them, and one a pale, dark-haired boy around their age. What they did not know was that the reasons they were here seemed to posed a serious irony in each others' situations. Both of them sat at their bunks, Ranal squeezing Sevone's arm. The silence was to be their last memory of freedom.
The mechanical process of putting things away in order was interrupted when the two twins entered the room. The atmosphere seemed to shift from friendly to tense when the scent of blood tickled Sully's nose. It wasn't that hard to guess that these two had killed people especially since they smelled so similar to a vampire after a killing spree. Immediately Sully seemed to tense as he watched the brother's wearily before choosing to ignore them for now. He didn't want to cause any trouble especially since he was already being forced to attend the school against his will. Might as well try to avoid making enemies early on if it was possible.
Unfortunately, James' sense of smell still wasn't quite trained yet so he didn't catch the scent of blood coming from the two elves. Instead, he looked at them in curiosity as he hung another shirt on a hanger, not caring that the material was rather crumpled and messily set in the closet. Instead, his attention was more focused on their roommates. "Hello, my name is James! I'm a shapeshifter and this here is Sully. Who are you?" he questioned bluntly, causing Sully to shake his head. Honestly, how could the boy not recognize the shift of atmosphere for what it was. The twins practically screamed predator and he wouldn't doubt that at least one of them would attack if they were annoyed enough.
"James, they look tired. I doubt that they would want to talk to you right now. So let's finish packing then we can explore this place so we know where to go for classes tomorrow." Sully stated, causing the shapeshifter to glance at him with a slight frown before glancing at the twins once again. What was so wrong with trying to get to know his roommates. After all, they were going to be stuck here with each other until the day they became magically 'fixed'.
"But Sully, I just want to...." James began to state before scowling when the vampire shot him a slight glare that clearly told him to drop the matter. Frowning a bit more, James grumbled to himself as he shoved things randomly in drawers, not caring that his clothing would end up becoming wrinkled in the processes. Screw this shit, he wasn't going to let some silly vampire to intimidate him.
"James, they look tired. I doubt that they would want to talk to you right now. So let's finish packing then we can explore this place so we know where to go for classes tomorrow."
"But Sully, I just want to...."
Sevone stared at them. The shapeshifter was a young un: he would have been mistaken as a normal human if he had not introduced himself in that manner. The other one - Sully, he had been called - was too pale to be normal. Vampire. Odd, then, that he did not reek of blood. Sevone was quite surprised: he did feel quite tired, as if the compound they were in exerted some unholy force of lethargy. Or maybe it was just him and his lack of exposure to the outside world, outside the elven forests.
Ranal, on the other hand, was continually squeezing Sevone's arm to exert some of his nervousness out. It was a new place, with new people. Why did Sevone have to be so cold? Even though he was the less confident of the twins, he perked at James' introduction.
"Ah, I'm Ranal," he started. He wasn't sure whether his brother wanted to be introduced, but Sevone nodded, as if he had read Ranal's mind. The more nervous of the two sat up straight. "And this is my brother, Sevone. He's... the elder one..." His voice faded off. Thoughts of home had him in deep thought. Then tension in the room was unbearable, and it was getting stuffier by the minute.
Sevone stood suddenly, shaking Ranal's grip off his arm, and threw the windows wide open without so much as a breath of exertion. How long could he go on ignoring these two? He stared out of the window, even as the wind cut through him with blades of cold air. How long will it take before they were forced to interact? Sevone didn't want to touch them, didn't want to have anything to do with them: he was afraid they won't even survive their first night with the twins.
Ranal looked silently at his brother. The figure that he had looked up to since his birth. Perhaps it had been right for Sevone to have been the firstborn. He acted like a firstborn, even though they were separated by not more than a fraction of a second in birth. But now as Ranal turned his gaze back to James and Sully, he wondered if it would be a repeat of those other times, those times where they had blood and flesh soak them through the bone...
"Explore this place, you say?" Ranal jumped, knocking his head on the bedpost of the bunk. Sevone had just spoken his first words since they traveled from the forests. Sevone turned to face James and Sully, his tower-like build serving to intimidate, though he wasn't monitoring their responses. "Do you mind if... we join you then?"
Ranal thought it strange. His brother never talked without someone addressing him first. Well, there had to be first times for everything, and Ranal turned expectantly to his roommates, waiting for their reply.
Sully watched Sevone with distrust when he noticed that the elf was staring at them. He stared back for just a moment before glancing away. He was certain that the other already knew what he was by now, not that it mattered. Carefully folding his clothing, he placed them where they should be before tossing his empty suitcase underneath the bunk bed that he was sharing with James. Once he was satisfied with his work, he was about to insist that they leave only to pause when he heard one of the twins speaking. Apparently James had heard Ranal too and was once again acting like an eager puppy.
"It's nice to meet you both....granted not under these circumstances. So why are you here for?" James asked bluntly with a tilt of his head. The question was innocent by nature but it was worded rather rudely. A small yelp escaped his lips as he felt a hand slap the back of his head before he shot a glare at Sully while rubbing the spot that had been hit. "Stop being rude." The vampire commented ignoring the glares that was shot his way. He was just trying to look out for the shape-shifter after all.
Continuing to glare at Sully a moment longer, James finally allowed his attention to be pulled back towards the two twins , his question momentarily forgotten. "Yup, it's a huge place so there are probably a lot of neat places here. Who knows, maybe we can find abandon rooms or something we can hide in while skipping classes."James stated with a cheeky grin. There was no way that he was going to go to a class that was going to teach him how to be murderous. He would rather skip and get in trouble instead.
Standing up, James stretched slightly causing the kinks in his backs to work themselves out before he headed towards the door, his grin not faltering just yet. "What are you all waiting for, let's go before the other students get the same idea to explore as well." James demanded, causing Sully to roll his eyes although a slight grin tugged at his lips.
"Alright already. Sheesh, are you always this hyper?" Sully asked, causing James to roll his eyes slight in annoyance. He really wasn't that hyper...was he?
"It's nice to meet you both....granted not under these circumstances. So why are you here for?"
Sevone wasn't really sure if he wanted to answer that question. Looking at Ranal, he seemed almost ready to pounce. The elder of the two quickly squeezed Ranal's shoulder. It was a clear indication: don't tell them.
Before they knew it, James was out the door, ready to explore the campus. Ranal could read Sully's face like a book: the vampire was somewhat annoyed at the shapeshifter's enthusiasm. They watched as Sully stalked out of the room, following James, putting a little distance between them before Sevone dragged Ranal off the bed out the door as well, slamming it behind him. Ranal swore he heard a resounding crack, but didn't turn around to check.
The silence was awkward. Ranal had been surprised at Sevone's initiation of a question, but now he knew. Since it didn't really bring up much of a conversation, his elder brother would more or less stay quiet for the rest of the time.
Where were they going?
