The Neko Pound

Tyler smirked as he scared away another supposed "Master." He was a Neko, he had orange ears, and a matching orange and black thin tail. He was a bit of a stray, he had been made to be sold and wasn't a special order. Only problem was that when they made him, they didn't put enough mental blockers in him. Now, he had faint memories of freedom and a desire to have it again. That was way, any time someone came to look at him, he growled and acted crazy determined to scare off any buyers. It wasn't the best plan, but it worked for now. He went to his now solo room, his roomate having just been bought, and climbed onto his bed.

"You can stay here for the time being," He heard a doctor/guard/whatever say as he led someone into his room. It had silver ears, and a nice gray tail.

"Just as I was getting used to being alone," He muttered, hearing the door lock once the new Neko was pushed in.

Licht stared at the floor as he held his arm where he had a wrapping of bandages where he had been given a vaccine. He looked around at the cell and lowered his ears as he sat in a corner and curled up.

"Whats wrong with you," Tyler asked, a little suprised at his new roomates behavior. "Don't sit on the floor, you can sit on the bed. I don't bite, despite what some of my almost masters think." He watched the young adult pout and felt a sensation in his stomach, empathy maybe. He frowned and got up, and tried to help him up.

"I-I don't know where my "twin" is...th-they won't let me see him because they said he's not well enough to see anyone. He has a concussion and I'm so worried about him." Licht replied, close to breaking down in tears as he stood up from the floor.

"Your, twin," Tyler asked confused. "You have family here? I thought they got rid of all family ties when we were changed?" Maybe this won't be as boring as he had thought. "Tell me, who is this twin? Why does he have a concussion?" He then noticed he was upset, and stopped asking questions, coming close and bringing his arms out. He sighed and said, "If you need to hug someone, or need someone to hug you, I'll do it," He offered. Normally he hated physical contact, but if this Neko needed it.

Licht sniffled as he wrapped his arms gently around Tyler and he clung to him gently, his ears drooping a little more, but he was grateful for the contact. "Th-Thank you...I-I'm so sorry. I'm such a wreck after what happened." He then told Tyler about what happened, with the park and people throwing rocks at them along with a neko that belonged to another master up to what happened when they reached the Garden in the Warden's van.

He frowned hearing his story, but wasn't sure what to say. He froze at the hug, but after a few seconds, he bit his lip and hugged him back. He supposed, it wasn't that bad. "Well, um, your safe now, until tomorrow anyway," He said frowning a bit. "Those bastards are trying to do anything to get rid of me. They've given up trying to sell me for a profit and are just going to throw me in an auction."

Licht slowly pulled away from him. "I'm not going to be able to stand with Dunkel at the auction...in front of all of those men." he said softly, just the thought making him hold his own arms.

"All those men," He said slowly. "You mean all those monsters. Its unnatural. Its just wrong. I hate this stupid system," He shouted loudly. He cared about what Licht had to say, but the idea of having to display himself in front of all those, things, pissed him off to no end.

Licht walked past him and sat on his bed. "I already have a master, but by tomorrow, it'll be too late for him reclaim us after what he did."
