Writer's block stinks. So hard. I have a few tips and tricks that my friend always tells me (she's a passionate writer, got a degree in creative writing):
- If you just google "writing prompt" you'll probably find thousands of prompts to help inspire you. Pick one at random and follow that prompt. Even if that prompt doesn't inspire you or you don't think it's interesting, force yourself to write. Make it interesting, turn it into something that inspires you.
- Write every day. Period. Don't stop. Even if it's just a journal entry, a drabble, a chapter, a oneshot, just write. You might not love the final product, but that's okay. The point is to keep your creative juices flowing so you don't get out of practice.
- Can't think of anything to write? Think of things you wrote a long time ago. Things you wrote years ago (unless you're really new). Maybe you look back at your first few stories and are just plain embarrassed at how bad they are? Rewrite old stories. Vamp them up. Rewrites are really fun because you can really experience how you've improved over the years and you can give new life to an old story.
- Keep a notepad or something with you. You never know when inspiration will strike. You don't need to start writing your new story, but if something comes to you, write down the main points and things that stuck out to you so you can get back to it later.

My advice would be to try and forget about your problem for a while. Inspiration has a way of coming when you least expect it sometimes. But have a pencil and some paper on you so you can write down the ideas that come to mind.

This is good advice, so if you'll excuse my expansion :
Personally I find a cure to writers block is to write about something small and stupid like unblocking a drain, an afternoon teasing my colleagues or checking my bank account and finding that I'm overdrawn (too often recently). The more you write the more ideas you have so 200 words of non-sense and something may click!
I'm kinda repeating what Ruina-san's already said and it's likely very anecdotal so please excuse that haha!
On another note, i think i read somewhere that one published author found that copying out a page or two of their favorite book helped them through their block, so if hairy drains don't interest you you could try that!
