The world glowed a light green color. There was no floor, roof or walls. There was only a human floating, (Y/C). This was a video game, a dating sim meant for girls. But for some strange reason a boy was playing it. It's the year 2209 and Virtual Reality reached the peak of almost reality. There were many rumors of people creating emotional bonds with VR games and their characters. Some people died from spending too much time in the game world and never getting out. Finally, the world fizzled into a bedroom. The door opened and in walked a very handsome man. He smiled. "Hello user. My name is Helios, the managing AI of Challenging Choices. This game is a dating sim filled with men, love interests, that you can fall for. The point of this game is to find your true love and create a simulated life with him. And the name of this game goes with the theme of making difficult choices in the world. Let me demonstrate." A man who looked to be about 20 appeared. "This is Akihiro. He has fallen head over heels for you but you have fallen for this man." Another man appeared. "Kida. You can choose to love Akihiro and delve deeper into his route or choose to keep persuing Kida until he loves you. Please make a choice, you'll see how each choice you make effects your gameplay." The AI looked to Y/C.

A young boy stepped into the light. He created his character in the simulator. The player knew about this game, as it was very popular at the year of games. You create your character and it goes to interesting choices. Some, too drawn into the game and some that got bored. The player liked it. It was a way of escaping reality and develop for some game player that never even existed. He just have to be careful to not drown in the realistic game...

Hiruzen Yomitsu. The name of the character that the player has created. Age 17. Hiruzen was a boy of blonde hair and more of a pale skinned character. Sky blue eyes that looked innocent yet completely opposite of the character's personality. He is a bit rebellious and feisty. Hiruzen enjoys being dominated and is somewhat into kinky play like bondage and such, but would not admit it.

The player looked at the choices that he was given and picked; Kida. He preferred starting off a bit fresh and not yet love.

The sound of glass breaking was heard. A scene initiated. Akihiro fell to his knees. Shaky and short breaths were heard. "Hiru...I thought...I thought you loved me. Did you not mean what you said?" Tears flowed from his eyes. Helios looked at the man and he disappeared. Kida looked at Hiruzen, a slight smile on his handsome face. "I thought you'd leave me." He disappeared too. "Good job. Records show that 89.3% of players chose Akihiro. Next explanation. The Good/Bad Karma Scale. A good action earns you Karmic Uprising. An evil action earns you Karmic Downfall. Example." Kida and Akihiro appeared again, this time fighting. A mannequin also appeared. Kida grabbed a gun and shot Akihiro in the forehead. The karma bar turned red and went up. The scene resetted. Kida grabbed the gun and the mannequin jumped in front of Akihiro, Kida accidentally shooting it. The bar turned green and went up some. The scene disappeared. "And lastly, love points. Doing an action the character will love you more for will earn you love points. Doing something they'll hate you for will earn you hate points. Welcome to Challenging Choices." Helios opened a door and pushed Hiruzen out, the teen falling onto grass. A phone was in the boy's pocket. That was the tool he used for options, exiting, etc.

The player somewhat felt bad for what he did. The way the Akihiro fell to his knees and the way that the glass shattered was a bit dramatic and saddening but, the choices were made and he could not go back. This reality game had no save stations, meaning that whatever the player chose, they can not go back and chose again. Just like real life. Hiruzen fell on to the grass and looked up. Blinking at the place he now is in and the player looked in the phone first. Staring at the options and stuff like that. Re running the information he received from Helios. Wondering what he should do now. Hiruzen shoved the phone into his pockets and looked at the sky. The sky was realistic looking as well. The player started to move around a little. He wondered if Helios was a choice he could pick to fall in love with. He is kind of mysterious and cool looking...even if he's not a main character. The player only chuckled at the thought.
