Personality: A rather even tempered, calm man, Joel is very protective over the people he cares about. He's strong and knows how to wield a weapon due to the years of being taught by the best (his father). Short History: Joel is the leader of his clan, taking the spot after his fathers death only a few years ago. Staying in the low boreal forests, Joel's main focus is to keep everyone together and ensure they are strong, training the young to fight and the woman to do the same.

Short History: Adam is the Beta of the group, he is always caring about his clan, he studied medicine so he is the doctor of the group and is always the first one to treat or clean.

"Joel, we have a problem."

Topaz eyes snapped towards the young woman standing nearby, his eyes trailing along his beta's body before taking a deep breath and refocusing his attention back onto his paperwork. "What is it this time Girava."

"Our medic didn't make it through the night. Without anyone else being trained in the field, no one could treat him. Now he's dead. Joel we need someone or else we wont make it through the week." Girava shifted where she stood, worry welting up within her although the alpha barely seemed to care. "Joel? Are you even listening. God you are such a little.." she trailed off when those sharp eyes glared back at her.

"I am listening. I'm trying to think of something." Taking a deep breath, Joel ran his hand through his brown hair and let it fall back over his eye, his hands then running over the oak of his desk before standing up and grabbing one of the papers in front of him.
"Here. Read this, and get the others to vote on it."

Girava's eyes scanned over the paper before taking it in her grasp, her eyes widening at what is written down. "Kidnapping?"

"Well we don't have much choice, and I've heard he's really good at what he does. Do we have much choice? It's not like we're friends with the Shade clan." Joel sighs and looks over at the nearby window, the sun just beginning to rise, casting a yellow glow in the boreal forest.

"Very well. I'll speak with the others about it...I'll return shortly." Girava bows before taking her leave.
Joel glances at the door and moving past his desk, heading towards his dresser and grabbing some clothes so he could get out and start the day. It seemed it would be a lot more interesting than he had first thought.

Adam rose bright and early and watched over his pack, right now nothing new is going on and their alpha was in his office, he was a Beta but usually he would naturally take the cleaning up role and preparing medication everyday for the others, he always likes to feel prepared.

"I'm just going to be out for a little while, I need to gather herbs and medication stuff." adam told their alpha, who is always seem to be an edge every time Adam goes out, "Alright, but just be careful. Be really careful, specially if Mohingan is concerned. Ill tell this to our pack later, but the word is their medic died and so I guess they're desperate. You're the only medic we have, so you have to be more careful than usual"

Adam rolled his eyes and sighed softly, as he ruffled his hazel hair and blinked his eyes. "Don't worry, Ive got my trusty bow and arrow, just in case." He said reassuringly, "You cant keep me locked in here." Although he never knows what might happen to him as he gathered his stuff and went out the door.

It was pretty chilly weather as he inhaled a breath and started gathering fresh herbs and twigs he would prepare during the day, "I guess I'd have to go into the forest..." He muttered softly to himself. Knowing that would probably be a bad idea, he felt a short sense of a little panic rising as he took a breath and slowly walked into the forest. He knows that there are plenty of things he could gather to make good medications.

Thirty minutes passed, Joel was in front of his cabin, stretching as he readied himself for a bit of training. He knew it was probable he wouldn't have the time though, especially if Girava got the majority of the clan to agree that kidnapping a medic was the best option. Joel himself wasn't too sure about the idea, although he didn't completely oppose it either. They were desperate, mainly because there was a slight outbreak in the clan, an illness that was beginning to shut down the immune systems of the weak.
Joel didn't have much choice, it wasn't in his nature to cause trouble with another clan but if he didn't, most of his own would die in a matter of weeks.

A strong nudge gains Joel's attention, glancing down and letting out a deep breath when blue eyes peer up at him. "Morning Accalia." Tachibana ran his fingers through his wolfs fur, watching as she bows her upper body down to stretch before yawning widely.
"You have no manners." Joel chuckled, walking ahead towards the group of people nearby, a slight frown caressing his features when Girava walks towards him.

"Whats the news?"

"Majority voted. We're going to grab the beta as soon we as can. Supposedly they are already suspicious about us..."

"How?" Joel snapped, his concern and anger growing. "Who told them?"

"No idea. But we're leaving before we eat, the faster we go the better it'll be."

Nodding his head, Joel takes a deep breath and runs his fingers through his hair, placing a hand on the scabbard of his sword and glancing at Accalia. "We have a person to track, you think you can do it?"
The dark wolf's eyes lit up as she quickly turned and put her tail up proudly while letting out a short bark of approval, heading towards the nearby forest, Joel soon following.

After Thirty Minutes, Fang woke up and he noticed that Adam wasn't there, he frowned softly and snorted to himself before hopping off the couch and walking towards the alpha, he nuzzled into him for affection before watching him do his work as the alpha was a little bit concerned for Adam, he sat near the alpha.

"Nothing bad is going to happen to him. Right?" The alpa asked Fang as he felt the leopard nuzzle into him, the alpha looked out the window.

Adam didn't think there would be too much going on, but being the Beta and the medic sometimes he was extremely busy, treating the sick or the wounded while also following the Alpha's orders and co-leading, so he likes to be prepared and start his day early. He found some extra beneficial herbs, he smirked softly and packed some as he walked deeper into the forest, not knowing that the Mohingan clan was searching for him, he sat against the tree and did some studying and reading in how to prepare the herbs correctly for healing.

Sooner or later, Adam got lost into studying, his alertness slowed and got a bit off track, though he made sure his bow was close to him as he carried the arrows on his back.

Joel pushed past the underbrush of the forest, his sword resting on his back while Accalia walked alongside him. He had on a thin brown shirt, along with loose grey jogging pants, and a leather pouch attached to his outer thigh that held a few things he might need to use.
He stopped and looked around to take in his suroundings, glancing up at the sky and humming beneath his breath. "A little longer...Accalia, track him. Find a human scent and lead me towards them."

The large wolf instantly turned and jogged quietly through the forest, her nose close to the ground before lifting her head and perking her ears forward.
Joel stayed closeby, watching his wolf dart to the right, then left, before going straight. It lasted a while longer until finally Accalia stopped in her tracks and growled, pinning her ears to her head.

"Easy girl." Joel whispered, running a hand along the fur of her neck before looking to see what had gotten her attention.

The alpha held his breath and ducked down behind a tree, reaching into the pouch attached to his thigh and taking out a small vile of liquid. "Stay down." He whispered to the wolf as he glanced back over, his eyes scrutinizing the young man he had been tracking for the last hour.
"There he is Accalia, the medic and beta of Shade clan. Adam." Joel whispered before taking a deep breath and standing up. As he finally left the cover of the tree, the alpha slowly stepped towards the young man and put a hand to his brown hair, running his fingers through it. "Hey." He called out, standing still as he kept his eyes on the man.

When Joel and Accalia came close to Adam, he was still lost into his knowledge until he stopped and heard something.
He blinked his eyes momentarily and glued his eyes away from the book as he shut it down and looked around the forest. He was definitely lost, but thats not what bothered him.
What bothered him was that he heard a wolf and then heard the alpha, he growled softly and clenched his jaw.
Rising to his feet and looked serious, with his eyebrows furrowing. Slowly he picked up his bow and arrow, his eyes not leaving Joel's as he watched him suspiciously, "Can I help you?"
Adam watched his every move, noticing that Joel was still, made him tense, and not the good kind. He felt a little bit of anxiety wash over him as he exhaled a breath, he aimed his bow and arrow at Joel. But he didn't shoot. Not yet.

"It's been over an hour. Where is he?" The Shade's clan alpha felt unease, Adam's been late before, so he hoped he either fell asleep or got lost into his knowledge.

Accalia's body stiffened when she saw the man holding a weapon, getting into a stance and readying herself to pounce while snarling.

"Easy Accalia! Back down." Joel said right away, not wanting his wolf to be shot, nor did he want her to attack. The last thing the alpha wanted to do was harm a medic that he needed. "I'm just here...to try and be civil." Joel muttered, his eyes scanning along Adam's body before looking at the bow and glaring.
"Is that necessary? I'm not planning on killing you." Joel said with a bit of a twinge of irritation to his voice, sliding his hand back towards the hilt of his sword but not drawing it out.

"I want you to come with me. People in my clan are dying, just come with me and I won't hurt you. You can return to your clan once we find a replacement." Joel said aloud, knowing it wouldn't be that easy. Imagining Adam simply saying 'yes' and walking through the forest to heal his clan was a fantasy that would have barely any chance of coming true, but he had to try before he got physical with the beta.
