Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on Yaoi Ai:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 2 or more posts who has been a member over a week) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 30 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

If you please, why shouldn't Yaoi Ai posses a downloads section just like the other sister sites?
I remember when being at OTK (and I'm still going there) the downloads section was very interesting and gratefully helpful to me for knowing more and discovering the most enjoyable animes.
I'm pretty sure that other members would like to share their yaoi files as well. It may be a great guide to all of us!

this will be discussed with Ai and we will see what we can arrange, however on another note part of the reason we havent added one would be because we were worried about bandwidth issues, because many clips can make allot of bandwidth.. a good example would be 1000 users downloading the whole downloads section on otk would p our transfer allocation hence why this needs to be talked about.

I understand this issue. Perhaps there is a way that every user can be informed which animes are bandwidthed and which are fine to upload?

um bandwidth is whats passed between the user who downloads a file and the server that sends it (it works in reverse as well) basically put regardless of what you do online you are using your own and someone else bandwidth and for a large portion of servers they are limited in what amount of data they can pass a month.

I do have some clips and movies to offer that I could upload. However, if it's a bandwidth issue, I could always upload them to something like megaupload/rapidshare and just post the links. So maybe a forum for it where you can post links to manga/anime you've uploaded? That way everyone could share manga/doujinshi that way and all.

I really don't have any issues regarding this site having a download section or none at all. forums exist so that people can contribute new ideas to each other. but a download section can boost popularity sometimes.  I'm just stating my opinion. |

I do!!!! Their slow. An ftp alternative. Or they could just buy a premium megaupload, place dropboxes, and direct/hotlinking, but regular uploads? I wouldn't go for it.
