Personality/history: When the chaste virgin Goddess, Artemis, bore a child, she hid him away on Earth where the other Olympians would not think to look. He grew up among a small forest tribe where Artemis left him as a child. The tribe, considering him a blessing, raised the boy who grew up being able to communicate with non-human animals. This gift has pointed a lot of attention his way, however, and Artemis - keen to keep her childbirth a secret - has sent mythical beasts after Hunter in order to clean up her mess

What was a simple trip to collect firewood for his tribe had quickly turned into a fight for Hunter's life. He ran through the forests, breathing sporadically as the faint sound of flapping wings and screaming where heard in the distance. He turned around briefly. Nothing behind him. He turned his head forwards again and gasped as something swooped down and tightly gripped his upper arms with strong, sharp talons which dug into him.

It sharply pushed him backwards onto the floor and dug its claws into Hunter's arms, causing him to cry out in pain. He looked up at the creature that had pinned him - a Harpy.

"Argh! Minerva!" he screamed as he looked the to skies to see his owl, Minerva swoop down and claw at the harpy's face. Blinded, the harpy retreated, screaming, leaving Hunter bloodied and bruised on the forest floor.

Alurra Jayce is the son of the goddess of love, Aphrodite, and a mortal parent , lorrance Jayce. He had come to camp half-blood for protection. He had been here for two years now, and is very kind. But he wields the power of charmspeaking : powerful force of convincing others to do whatever he wants. He is somewhat goth/emo. Very rare for an aphrodite offspring.

Alurra was tracking around the woods, checking his eyeliner and black/purple clothing when he heard a scream. A boy? In the wild? This late at night? Well he shouldnt judge. He was out here too wasnt he? Alurra took out his black diamond dagger from its sheath and advanced toward the screaming area. "whos there?"

Alurra soon saw firewood scattered on the floor. He followed the trail of it and found a boy on his knees on the floor with a owl on his side. He looke at his arms. BLOOD! he ran over to him. "demigod or mortal? Tell me quickly!" He took out the ambrosia cubes, that healed an immortal or a mere demigod. "come on!"

Hunter shook his head in confusion "What are you talking about!?" having not known either of his parents, Hunter had simply assumed that the time he spent with the forest tribe caused him to be able to communicate with animals.

He looked over Alurra's shoulder and his eyes widened, spying the creature swooping down for a second chance to kill "Behind you! What is it!?" he screamed as the harpy fly quickly towards them.

Alurra turned around "stop!" the harpy fell to the ground. "leave now and dont come back" the harpy flew back to where it came from. Alurra turned around and sighed "got it under control. Now what did you say about parents? You dont know who they are?"

Alurra frowned, a hunter? But.. A guy? He couldnt be in the group og girl hunters for Artemis, they swore off boys forever. Who was he?

Hunter watched in shock as the commanded harpy fell to the ground in subservience before flying off, obeying the strangers orders. "W-wait! Did you send it after me!?" he accused, turning to Minerva "Go back to the camp and get help, quickly, Minerva!".

He shuffled away from the stranger, digging his feet into the moist earth to move him away "I don't know what you want with me or who you are, but just stay back" he shouted, feebly trying to be agressive despite his injured arms.

"no i didnt send that after you, i- did you just talk to that owl?!" Alurra was in shock..... Language of the animals? Demigod. Animals..... ARTEMIS?! "hey you can talk to animals right? And you dont know who your parents are?" Alurra shuffled over to the boy "try eating these" he handed the ambrosia squares to him.

If he was a mortal, he would spontaneously combust. If he was a demigod, he would be healed. Artemis? Virgin goddess... Broke it?

Hunter felt strangely calmed by Alurra's speech, and believed the boy's claims surprisingly. Swallowing the golden cubes, a warmth came over his body and the pain in his arms miraculously subsided and he moved them in awe as the wounds sealed themselves.

"W-what is this!?" he shouted in dismay as he stared from his healed arms to Alurra's face "And who are you!?"

Alurra smiled. Demigod. "that was an ambrosia cube. It heals demigods who eat it, but spontaneously combusts mortals. i am Alurra Jayce, son of aphrodite, goddess of love." he held his hand out to the boy "and who are you?" Alurra was still confused whether or not he could be artemis' child. Well, apollo's offsprings could be hunters too, they were skilled eith bows. Artemis's twin brother.

Despite the bizarre healing of his arm, Hunter didn't believe Alurra "Heh, I'm sorry but if you think that I'm going to believe your sugar cubes make me a God them you're mistaken... It's obviously some great medicine our tribe hasn't discovered" he laughed to himself.

"I'm Hunter Brooke, I'm named after the tribe's huntsmen and the brook that supplies our water... I've been able to talk to animals for as long as I can remember, and Minerva's been by my side all the time as well..." he sat up, leaning back on his hands "I suppose I should thank you... For saving my life; thanks, but what was that flying woman?"

"demigod not a god hunter, and if you came to my camp, youd be able to meet others like us and im not kidding about the medicine!" alurra frowned "a tribe? Who would have left you in a tribe? Im supposing that youre mom is artemis sincw you can talk to animals but shes a virgin goddess..."

Alurra looked into Hunter's eyes... They were pretty "that was a harpy, sent to you probably by an immortal"
