The Cold President

Krisma stared at the male with a look that screamed, 'you didn't' before sighing. He got up an leaned his head back before pushing his chair in, he told the teacher he wanted to go to the nurse and got a pass. Heading out to go find the nurses office. When he got there Krisma took a seat and waited for the nurse to finish whatever it was she was doing. "hey. I just got here today and I wanted to ask about clubs, I can't join a jujutsu club because I don't have a physical and joined half way through the year correct?" he asked. The nurse looked at him for a long moment before giving a nod, "That's correct, why? Do you need a physical honey?" she asked a bit confused. "No, i need a note stating that I can't join, so they will leave me alone." he said the nurse sighed and took a paper, writing the note and handing it to him. "Thanks" he said before leaving, he made it to the meeting place, not really sure what the hell the guy was thinking as he waited, note in had...now they'd leave him alone.

Victor leaned back in his chair. drumming his fingertips impatiently against the polished tabletop. He'd already addressed all the Jujutsu participants within this time, except for that elusive boy. He looked up at the waiting faces, and smiled firmly but reassuringly.

"You may now return to your classes. Look after yourselves, for I want the best from all of you tomorrow. Give it your best. For the school." A pause and then that addictive smile. "And for me."

Some participants blushed faintly while others just gave goofy grins, and made their way out of the cafeteria. Victor smiled charmingly at a passing waitress, as he ordered a hotdog.

He was beginning to fear that Krisma wouldn't turn up, when he caught sight of the boy waiting at a distance. So he'd come on time? And been here all along? Why hadn't he approached Victor? Had he been waiting for the rest to leave? Anyway.

Victor saw the note the boy held defiantly in his hand, and frowned. Crooking his finger, he quietly summoned Krisma to the table.

Krisma was pleased withe everything, the stupid president would think he had won, but Krisma was one step ahead. No physical, no joining. Simple. As the meeting went on, the young male mostly tuned everything out, finding it boring and a bit stupid how the president wanted to look good. It was....pointless. He'd never join this club even if he could! Why they would need him, he wasn't sure. But surly someone else could take the spot, someone with a physical and the motivation to do it.

When everyone else, Krisma saw the surprised look on the stupid presidents face before the frown, he must know whats up. Krisma stood up and headed over to the table with out a seconds hesitation. Sitting down on the other side, he placed the paper down on the table and slid it over. "You might seem to wish me to join this little...advent, but as said by the nurse and this letter. I can't join. I haven't had a physical and don't meet regulations." he said with a large grin.

Victor stared at the boy in disbelief before grabbing the note from his hand and quickly scanning it. Damn, he was dealing with one clever fox. Sighing, he leaned back in his chair, massaging his eyebrows. Persuasion was another way.

"Look here, Krisma," he began. "Boris isn't the kind of guy to screw up and choose an unworthy chap for an inter-school sporting event. He knows what'll happen to him if he screws up something as important as choosing the right participant. If he chose you, there must be a good reason. Why then are you not interested?"

The waitress sashayed over and placed a delicious smelling hotdog on the table, smiling at Victor. He however quickly paid up and ignored her, still focused on the lovely youth sitting before him.

"You're a replacement. Which means that someone was injured at the last minute and you've been chosen to step in. Trust me, we have no time. At the most, we have a day to get another participant properly prepared. Why can't you spare us that inconvenience?"

Victor pushed the hotdog across the table towards Krisma. "You look hungry. Here you go. Eat while you think it over."

Krisma grinned as the male read the letter over. He'd one and there was nothing this guy could do. He didn't have a physical, no reason to be in t he stupid thing. And well, lets just say he was feeling a bit smug because of it.

Listening as the other began to ask him why he didn't want to, Krisma shrugged, "Maybe because it wasn't my idea to come to this stupid school, to be anywhere around rich snobs like yourself...that and I hate having people try and make me do something I say no to." He muttered his arms crossing his arms over his chest and leaning back.

Glancing up at the waitress, Krisma went silent as she put the dog down and tried to flirt, but now that Victor didn't have any bragging rights for having won, he'd gone and shoved her aside. IT was kinda funny to watch her walk off all pissed.

Krisma couldn't believe this, "lets see, I started school, Today. I know absolutely no one besides figure heads like yourself, and I hate fighting....in matches like that. There's only one way I fight, thats in defense. Thats it..." He said.

Looking at the hotdog, Krisma couldn't help but laugh before pushing it away. "I don't eat meat, or anything that looks like it...Now I'm going back to my class..." he said standing up, "Good luck with finding someone. No physical, no joining, take it up with the school board" he said with a wave.

Victor frowned and sank back into his seat, slightly stunned as he stared after the boy who'd just calmly duped him and walked off. He was used to counselling unwilling participants and using his charms to convince them. He wasn't accustomed to such clever stubbornness.

Just then Boris came hurrying along, apparently to inquire about the new participants. As he kept babbling about whether Victor approved of his choice of the replacement Jujutsu fighter, the latter glanced at him distractedly.

"Yes, yes Boris, I trust your choice. I'm just having a hard time convincing him. A really hard time. He won't give in. Yet. I suggest you start looking for another replacement immediately. Just in case I fail to get him to participate. I just may have one last trick up my sleeve."

Having said that, Victor stuffed the hotdog into Boris's mouth (not that he complained) and walked off.
