The creature stared at Andrea for a good minute or two, trying to register his words.
When he had thought about them enough, he laughed. It was a strange, low sound, almost a growl, as if he wasn't used to laughing.
"Eat you? Hahaha. Silly. "
The creature reached over and poked Andrea sharply in the ribs.
"Too skinny. You wouldn't taste good" he said with a sly grin.
He ignored the man's suggestions and turned away from him.

If this one insisted on following, he supposed he'd just
have to let him, he wasn't in the mood for more fighting.
He started walking, trying to walk with his own two legs for a change now that he was in human company.
Eventually he realised that it was much slower this way, and that he was beginning to feel dizzy again. Eventually he gave up and dropped to the ground in a crouch before turning to look at the scientist.
"You know the way out? Yes?"

He was still unsure whether or not the man was to be trusted, but he did know that he was losing blood fast and needed a safe place to rest.
He decided to take the risk , taking some coformt in the fact that he would easily be able to kill the stranger should he prove untrustworthy.

Andrea was surprised when all he got was a sharp poke to the ribs. It was true that he was rather skinny. He was usually so busy with work that he didn't really eat very much. However, he made sure to eat enough to keep him from getting sick, or dying of starvation. He then heard what the creature asked of him.

Sure, he knew the way out but did he know a way that they could escape without any unwanted encounters? Then it dawned on him.

"I do," he replied.

"There's a hallway just up ahead that is rarely used by any of the others. It leads to the rear exit of this facility," he explain, pointing in the direction of said hallway.

The creature cocked his head slightly, thinking about it. Trying to gauge whether or not the man was genuine.
He stared at him in silence for a while, and then he finally turned and waved an arm.
"You go first. I'll follow. "
They'd move faster if the leader knew the way, and he would feel that much safer if the scientist was kept where he could watch his every move.

Andrea nodded and moved a head of the creature. He began leading the way, looking cautiously down the hallway. It was clear of danger. He looked back at the creature and smiled. "The escape route is clear," he said, begining to move down the hallway towards the back of the facility. The cameras in the area were just for show and hadn't actually worked in years. So, Andrea knew he had nothing to worry about with them. He looked back to see how the creature was doing and to see if he should slow down so that he could follow him easier.

"This way?" the creature asked inquisitively, motioning forward with his head.
If this way was true, and safe, then...
He waited until the scientist nodded
in response, and then he dropped onto all fours once again.
"I hope you're quick..." said the creature with a feral grin, and then without another word he took off down the corridor, using his instincts to show the way, following the scent of grass and trees.

It wouldn't be long until he was free.

Andrea blinked in surprise when the creature suddenly took off on all fours. He knew that he wouldn't be able to keep up with him. However, he was fast as far as people went but there was still no way for him to out run the creature. Andrea eventually caught up and breathed in the fresh air. It was nice and clean.

"What will you do now?" he asked the creature. He couldn't exactly run free. There was the chance that people would see him and that he would be hunted, possibly killed.

(I need to be named soon. XD I think for now I'll call him 'N9' to reflect his subject code. )

N9 cocked his head inquisitively and stared at Andrea. It was a good question, although he hadn't gave much thought to it."Hrm" was the only sound he made in response.

He shrugged his shoulders heavily and lay down on the grass, relishing the feel of something real against his bare back.
He was exhausted, still in pain and frightened... but he couldn't resist the urge to roll in the grass.
Eventually he because too tired for even that, and his mind came back to the question.
"Hide. I'll hide. Tunnels, caves, things like that. " he murmured, more to himself than the scientist.
N9 had to resist the urge to fall asleep, he needed to get somewhere safe. A place where he could rest and heal up, undiscovered for days.
He'd have to start searching soon.
He tore off a strip
of grass and began to chew it.
"You can go now." he said to Andrea in a somewhat bored tone, and he pointed back the way they had come as if to press the fact.

Andrea watched N9 for a moment. "Why not come to my house?" he asked. "I can help you, heal you. You'll be safe there. None of the other scientists know where I live," he added, smiling reassuringly at the creature. "Please? It would be far more comfortable than a cave. I have a spare room with a bed and such that you are more than welcome to use," he added. He wanted to help N9. In a way he was attracted to the creature. Andrea knew it was probably wrong and probably wouldn't amount to anything but he still couldn't help but feel such things for N9.
