Hercules stepped out onto the veranda, taking in the warm summer air as he awoke from his slumber. Today was his meeting with Prince Aladdin and Prince Eric. He saw the neatly groomed shrubs and water trickling fountains. On one shrub he saw a boy hanging up lights. It must have been one of his servants. Hercules hated having servants, but Phil insisted he use them. He told him that as the new Hero of the Land and Prince of Olympus, Hercules would not have time to do such menial tasks as washing the floors. Nonetheless, Hercules always felt guilty. He exited his bedroom and stepped into the garden, seeing the boy continue to work.

"You've done a great job setting up today." Hercules said, donned in his usual armour.

Jake was done with one side of the garden with hanging up the lights as he now needs to hang up the lights on the other side of the garden but before he was going to the other side of the garden, Hercules walked in the garden as he quickly kneel for him as he bow his head for his master " thank you, sir. " he said to his master as he liked it to get praised by his master for doing a great job, but he didn't dare to look up at his master because he was just a worker and his master was first of all his master but also half god. Jake didn't mind if his knee get scratched or that it would bleeding, he would only stand up when his master told him to stand up, that's something that he learned.

Hercules watched as the boy got on his knees. He didn't like that. He wasn't any more special than this boy, so to have him bow down like that made him feel guilty. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. No need to bow down." Hercules said with a big friendly grin. He placed a finger underneath the boy's chin and raised it, guiding the boy to a standing position. "And please, call me Hercules, or Herc for short."

Hercules looked around, the garden was beautiful. "Did you really do all of this? Because it's amazing! I'm sure not even the finest decorators in Olympia could do this well!" Hercules said in amazement. "I would just like to thank you so much--" That's when he realized he didn't know the boy's name. "How embarrassing, I don't even know your name." Hercules face turned red in embarrassment. "What is it?" Hercules asked bluntly.

Jake blushed as Hercules was placing a finger underneath his chin as he stood up as he nods softly , "sorry sir, ah i mean Herc" he said as he made a mental note of it that Hercules doesn't like it that he would bow down for him and to call him sir or master and to remember to call him Hercules or Herc from now on unless Hercules would come back on it.

Jake smiled as Hercules praised him about the garden and felt his face getting red as he nods, "thank you Hercules, yes i did all of this. im glad to hear that you like it, Herc" he said with a smile , "ah it's alright sir i mean Herc, it's not a problem at all , it's a honour to work for you Herc" he said as it was a first time that he saw Hercules turning red as he quickly looked at something else not sure if it was alright for him to look at Hercules's face "my.. my name is Jake, Herc" he said to his master

Hercules got down on one knee, bowing down to Jake. "Thank you very much for all the time and effort you have put into the castle. I am truly grateful for it." Hercules told him. He raised back to his feet. "And please, I know you have no option but to work here, and I'm sorry about that, but if you ever feel the need to take a break, please do so, you have earned it." Hercules said with a giant smile on his face as he placed a hand on the boy's shoulder.

"Speaking of break, you deserve one know. Let's go to the kitchen and I'll get your a tall glass of ice cold water." Hercules told him as he turned around and headed back into the castle.

Jake turned red and looked at Hercules, "please sir don't bow for me , and um your welcome Herc it's not a problem at all you don't need to thank me sir i mean Herc" he said a bit embarrassed that his master was bowing for him and thanking him, as he nods, "but i like to work here for you, Herc, i will thank you sir i mean Herc" he said with a smile on his innocent face as he felt Herc's strong hand on his shoulder.

Jake blushes and nods as he was already finished so it would not be a problem if Hercules said it himself that he could have a break, "thank you, Herc. im very grateful to work for you. do you like me to make your bath ready or is there something else what you would like me to do for you Hercules?" he asked with a smile as he followed Hercules back into the castle
