Nah, its part of the "User Album" thing that Vbulletin forum comes with.
Its really, really awful. Underline awful. Worse than awful. And un-needed because we already have a huge set of galleries that get front-page exposure to every picture posted.
Its really not quite what it sounds like, if sounds like people can post pictures to the social groups as part of the group... instead is more like, you get a couple of sticked pics at the top of the page when you first click the group link and if there's more than about 8 pictures then there's so many thumbnails you can't tell whats going on any more.
Post the pics to the gallery, then post the links (you can post the direct link and insert pics from the gallery into posts) into group posts.
