Having looked at your site and the pictures displayed there I can say I don't think its appropriate for this site.
Its certainly not a question of taste or quality - because the pictures/paintings on the linked site are excellent - merely that this is largely a japanese inspired board for japanese-style or themed pictures.
As you said, we just don't have anything like it here.
If there's interest here from other members I wouldn't object to creating a small gallery for your husband and yourself to post your own work into the residents gallery but I honestly couldn't say entirely what the reception would be. Some of the pictures in result are very interesting and do fit the theme of the site... its only the medium used (oils, watercolour etc) are unusual.
If members here are interested in introducing some of the works of your site to ours I'm game.

You can post links, feel free to do it in the "Writers Chat" section. I encourage you to write a few paragraphs about what the eBooks contain and then the link.
Please don't post them to the fiction or section, these sections are intended to be for works created by the uploader but we're very welcoming to links.
Especially if they're recyprical~
