But I feel like our Fiction section needs a tad tweaking?

Just some suggestions:
- the Editor's Choice Box on the Fiction homepage actually be utilized. Have the Moderators who're in control of the page choose one monthly or weekly or something like that? I feel like it could really help readers select which stories they want to read. It would save a lot of sifting through ones that aren't so...good.

- the recent contagion that is spam be eradicated. I've noticed, especially on a few of my own stories, that unregistered and registered users have been leaving comments on stories with merely a link posted in them. I'm guessing it's a link to some website outside of YaoiAi with things to buy on it? I'm not sure, I never click them. But they tarnish stories by giving a useless and false rating (they always just leave 3 stars, the standard rating that is default for comments unless the commenter manually selects a higher grade). Moderators or possibly Writers should be able to remove the spam comments as they serve no purpose other than to give false ratings.

I'd also like to take this time to ask three, more personal things:

- Is there/will there be a Writers Account? There is one for Artists I believe...Just wondering...

- Is it possible that a subcategory (i.e. other than the "Communal Section") be added for my stories? I have 5 and only intend to add more. If it's too much trouble, don't worry about it

Just asking.

- This one relates to the Editor's Choice suggestion I made above...If any of the Moderators aren't interested in selecting a Writer, I read many of the stories and would happily make the decision/suggest someone.

to be honest we need some dedicated mods to deal with the section.. something which lm contemplating bringing up with Ai, it helped DA and l guess the issue needs addressing here as there are more and more stories recently and they really need more moderating l guess.

Sadly, there's a lot of work - and we're not sure who should do it.
I'm going to take a look at it and try and assess how much work needs doing to redesign the section. If it can be made to work in its present form - cool. If it needs scripting and redesigning... that'd be a bit of a problem!

actually the job would entail more reading than anything else, basically moderation of stories posted, its always better to have someone who is into yaoi validating stories than someone who isnt, plus l find it hard to moderate based on the fact that my standards are not that of a writer.
