Topher felt better seeing the other man calm down, and when he said his name and even complimented his own, he smiled softly and felt his cheeks get a bit warm from the sensation of Zeke nuzzling against his hand.
Although when ’mate’ was mentioned again, Topher frowned and asked with a slightly confused tone of voice. “I..don’t get it. I’m your mate? And..I’m living here now?” he asked, looking like he was in disbelief. Was it possible that he was this lucky? That he’d be able to leave his abusive household and live here with a very attractive man? Topher felt his face blush once again, thinking about it and realizing it must be some sort of dream.

Zeke blinked at his mate's shyness and smiled, moving he sat on the bed, pulling his to thin mate onto his lap as he wrapt his arms protectively around him. "Well, I guess I can't hide it due to the closeness of the moon. You see I am not fully human. I wont hurt you because you are my Mate." He took a deep breathe "You see I.. I am a Werewolf." He explained and swallowed thickly, worried his Mate would reject him he quickly explained the mate part before the lith male could react. "You see all Werewolves have a destined Mate, most don't meet them and to find them we scent them... I wasn't looking when I found you but when I caught your scent it was amazing. I can have another Mate but not a true one, You are my true mate" He stted softly and waited. His Wolf whinning inside his head as it wanted its Mates love.

Zeke’s body was incredibly warm. Even though Topher just met him, he felt at ease around him, trusted him instantly and also he was comforted. He hadn’t felt that before with anyone else. As he looked up, Topher widened his eyes when he heard him say not fully human. How could that be when he looked so normal?
But when Zeke went on to explain about the fact that he was a werewolf…and his mate, Topher felt himself unable to believe it. He shook his head, frowning again and rubbing his head. “Am I dreaming? This…can’t be real.” he breathed out while shaking his head once again. It had to be real though, the pain of his lip and the warmth he felt wasn’t capable to occur in a dream.
Looking back at Zeke, Topher took a moment before whispering, slightly unable to understand it all, nor able to comprehend it. “You….you’re a werewolf? And I’m your mate?” Topher sounded distant as he asked, instead of freaking out he just looked stunned and barely seemed to move as his eyes looked into Zeke’s.

Zeke nodded to the last question and nuzzled his Mate's cheek softly. "I am a Werewolf. And you are my Mate Topher. And I will not let you leave me, you will live here with me." He eplained and smiled "I wont turn you till your ready, or if you dont want to I wont." He stated softly and looked back into the smaller Boy's eyes. His own soft and full of love and care, even if his Wolf never backed down. Meaning his eyes still had a lot of gold. "I wont let you be hurt again." He added just as soft and he nuzzled Topher's neck some.

Topher felt his heart begin to race. Werewolves, something he learned about in books and fairy tales were real? He loved to go to the zoo and see the wolves, watch shows about them and read about them in books, but werewolves he didn’t even know existed.
Despite being scared and anxious about everything, something calmed Topher down when he heard Zeke telling him that he wouldn’t let him leave and that he’d live there. It was slightly scary still but it was nice, the place seemed large enough and Zeke hadn’t hurt him yet.
When he told him about turning him, Topher nearly left the mans arms, looking as if he had seen a ghost. But instead of complaining, he just shook his head without a single word. He couldn’t think of anything to say, he was literally speechless.
Just as Topher looked back into Zeke’s eyes, something about them calmed him again. They were so warm, something in them seemed to make him believe every single word he said when he mentioned he’d never be hurt again. “I-I believe you.” he breathed out finally, closing his eyes and feeling himself slightly warm up in a bashful way at the sensation of the other male nuzzling against his neck. It would be difficult to get used to, but Topher thought maybe this was better…even if it meant he might be in a house full of either insane humans, or real werewolves. It was better then his real home.
For a moment, Topher didn’t speak, but he then whispered while opening his eyes. “When…um, when will you turn?” he asked, unsure if that’s what he called it, or if it was actually real. Although Zeke’s eyes seemed so inhumanly sexy, he doubted they were contacts.

Zeke noticed the small boypale at the mention of turning and kissed his neck softly to reasure him. His hold tightening in another attempt at comfort. As they sat in silence for a bit Zeke closed his eyes and basked in the joy of having his Mate in his arms. It was something he had only dreamed of as a cub. Like most Zeke was born not bit, he was a Natural Werewolf. Meaning he was quite large and could if in danger turn whenever, all he needed was enough adrenalin and the will to change. "Thats a hard question." He said softly "I am a Natural Were, meaning I have the ability to change in times of great stress or on the moon. I do not go crazy yet go into instinct mode. I will not hurt you, nor will my pack. You will be protected by all my Pack during times of change and when we are in Human skin." He explained softly. "You see movies make us seem like killers, which some are dont get me wrong. But those are rogues and loners gone crazy from loniless that hunt people. Rogues hunt for the thrill of killing and will hunt humans. But this town is split between my Pack and the Enderwood Pack. My Pack's name is Hemmingway, it is also my last name" He said proudly and puffed his chest out just slightly with pride.

That gentle kiss planted on his neck made Topher gasp very softly, his heart beating quickly but this time it wasn’t from fear. It was an odd feeling, having someone holding him, caring for him like Zeke was. Topher nearly wanted to cry but he knew his emotions weren’t to be showed so openly, especially for reasons that were so miniscule.
While listening to everything, once again Topher felt overwhelmed but he silently nodded. When he mentioned he wouldn’t be hurt while they were wolves, he also wondered if he’d be able to be near them or if he’d have to be apart from the pack itself.

Topher looked up when Zeke spoke to him about the rogue’s and how they were the ones who killed humans. He nodded again in acknowledgment, and the other pack…Enderwood, he’d have to learn more about all of this.
Topher then smiled softly when Zeke said the name of the pack was his last name, seeing the pride in his tone and posture. “Hemmingway…I like that name.” he smiled a little more, curiously moving his hand to touch Zeke’s neck. It was so warm and smooth, evident that he was muscular as well since his hold was just so powerful yet soft. Was he really lucky enough for this man to choose him as a mate? It was almost just as unbelievable as everything else.

Zekes pride just grew when Topher said he liked the name. He grinned wide as he grew happier at the praise of it. His grin turned even happier when he felt the soft touch to his neck, his eyes moving to look into his Mate's "I can't wait to show you my Pack! But we'll wait a few days. I want to stay in here with you to make sure your safe." He stated, if he had his tail in human form it would be wagging excitedly. It was a Were thing that hen one found its mate they would go into what is known as a 'hiding' meaning they wouldnt leave a room or house nor would the Were allow anyone to be near his mate. The 'hiding' period would only end when the mate would make it known he would stay and never leave. Zeke smiled at his mate and nuzzled his cheek "I am very happy with you right here" He added as he nuzzled.

Zeke’s smile was contagious, right when Topher saw it he did the same. When he mentioned meeting the pack in a few days, he slowly nodded, wondering a bit about that but understanding it must have been something to do with being a werewolf. “Okay.” The young man said while keeping his fingers against the mans warm skin.
Topher felt himself react to Zeke nuzzling against him again. It felt so different but so nice all at the same time. With a gentle smile, Topher touched Zeke’s beautiful hair and let out a soft chuckle from it tickling his neck.
“I think I’m happy too…but I’m still a little scared, everything is so new to me.” Topher said aloud, not wanting to keep anything from Zeke since he seemed trustworthy. Then something popped into his head and he widened his brown eyes. “Will I...sleep next to you then when we go to bed?” Topher asked as his face grew pink once more.

Zeke nodded when Topher said he was happy, or at least thought he was, "I am glad you are happy with this Topher" He said softly and smiled at his question. It was cute how he got embarressed about his question and the color he got made Zeke's heart grow "Yes, I wont have you sleep anywhere else" He said, tilting his head like a confused puppy. "Do you not want to sleep with me at night?" His eyes seemed to dull some at his question as he watched his mate.
