Drew drove to school with his friends that morning.
He left them, and went to his first class. As it turned out, they had a new student. A french exchange student by the name of Georges Lavesque. He groaned, as the teacher ordered him to let the new kid sit next to him.

Georges sat down. He was very nervous. Georges was one of those people who was painstakingly shy around people he didn't know, but a blast to be with when you got to know him. He looked to his left and noticed a very hunky, jock-like male. He quickly averted his eyes, trying to make sure he didn't get caught. He looked forward and tried to understand what the teacher was saying, but he couldn't understand fully.

He was gifted, he wasn't used to not understanding things. He nudged the person to his left, "Excuse-moi. Uhh..." He tried to make out the words in English, "What is it that the professor is saying?"

Drew cocked an eyebrow, then figured he'd better be friendly around the new kid. "Ok, basically, this guy sold his soul to the devil, and whenever he ages, the portrait ages instead of him. And in the end, he gets tired of living forever, and he stabs the painting. He dies, and turns into the old man who was in the painting."

Drew gave Georges the once over. He was kind of cute. Although he dreaded the hazing the boy was going to get during break.

"Ahh. Merci." Geo turned his head and looked back at his books. The story was very dark, he liked that. It may not be his cup of tea, but he loved to explore different types of literature. Geo was still nervous about his new high school experience. This guy next to him looked like the popular-type, maybe he could help him.

He nudged the boy next to him once more,"Sorry, umm...what do you do for fun in America?"

"We party, we play football. Why, whatdo you do for fun in France?"

"Party, and drink. We have discotheques in France that all of us teens would go to. I guess they are like your nightclubs here."

"I think you're going to fit in well here." Drew smiled. "Oh, My name's Drew. Drew Thorne."

Geo smiled back. "Je m'appelle Georges, but some people call me Geo." He fist bumped Drew.
"If you don't mind, it'd be marveilleux if you showed me around the school."
