Name: Caleb Aubrey Nix
Age: 17
Height/weight: 5,1” and about 107lbs. (Kinda on the short side x3)


Appearance: Caleb has light blonde hair that is just long enough to reach the middle of his neck, mixed with streaks of pastel blue and pink running through out it. He has baby blue eyes with tiny flecks of golden towards the centers.

Caleb’s pretty trendy with short shorts (Kinda like Ciel and Alois for those of you who have watch Black Butler c: ) and dress shirts fitted with vests, and of course since it’s steam punk based tons of little trinkets and gear styled rings which all works perfectly with his girlish figure. He also has his three piercing: ‘snake bites’ (Two studs on each side of his bottom lip) along with a tongue ring. A small tattoo of a compass rose in silver with red roses can be found on his upper right thigh.

Personality: Adventurous! Shy and gets embarrassed rather easily. Yet, he’s extremely playful and very, very curious about most everything. Sometimes a bit feisty and bratty, stuck in doing things HIS way.

　
　
　
　
The year was 3015, and after many devastating wars turning the Earth into a waste land from over a 1,000 years ago much has changed on this planet and steam powered inventions have become mainstream usage now-a-days.

A group of travelers became the first to colonize ‘Minervana’. Minervana is home to about a population of 500 people, factories and workshops around every corner on freshly paved, Victorian-Era streets. AirShips have become a popular form of transportation, also doubling as homes for some of the best inventers. Ever after all these years, black smoke and smog pollute the air in the skyline of this well known metropolis.

Caleb sat in one of the velvety, maroon arm chairs that were in the dining area of the famous inventor and engineer, Linux Kyaba’s airship. He dressed in his normal attire; A plain white dress shirt with a short cut brown vest layered overtop, shorts and high length black leggings that matched his lace up black combat boots. A pair of metal, circular goggles sat atop his blonde hair, and a metal gear charm adorned his necklace. He ran his fingers through his colour streaked hair, and rolled his silver tongue ring ball between his teeth as he waited for his interview.

Caleb was an inspiring, young inventor with hopes of landing himself an apprentice ship with world renowned, Linux , as his mentor. He hadn’t been waiting long, maybe five minutes or so but he was so anxious that it felt like he had been sitting in the comfy seat for an eternity. He sighed lightly, resting his head back and closing his eyes momentarily, he hadn’t slept that much the night before and his body ached, feeling worn out already without even much work accomplished or new inventions looked over yet.

"Hello there you must be the new apprentice, Caleb right, welcome to your new home and the Electrixs airship" i said as i held my hand out "your gonna love it here on the ship." I said as I waited for him to shake my hand.

The Electrixs was the biggest apprentice ship on Minervana. It was also the hardest ship to get on because of the the legends of the ship, only 5 people were selected.

Caleb's eyes shot open at the sudden voice in the room, he reached out his hand to shake the older man's.

"Y-yes, I'm Caleb, nice to meet you." All he could think is how the man probably thought he was sleeping right before an interview, not the impression he wanted to make. u.u;

He stood up, the inventor was much taller than him and it intimidated the boy slightly, but none-the-less he smiled warmly.

"I'm a big fan of your inventions, sir, they're remarkable." He replied meekly as if meeting a celebrity.

"Heh welcome a bored, um you seem to know my name already but introductions don't hurt one bit, my name is Linux Kyaba, welcome home. Now this is your uniform, it maybe skintight at first, but after a few runs it will grow on ya" I said as I handed him the uniform. "As long as you are on the ship you will have to wear it, unless your sleeping, and this powder will keep ya from getting a rash between the seat." I said as I handed him the bottle of powder it was a soft concoction, and then I lead him to his quarters.

"Generally all the newbies end up in one room, but since I have to many this year your bunking with me" I noted as I led him into the small apartment in the ship. It was also the place I called home.

Caleb tucked the uniform under his arm and took the powder in his hand, blushing lightly at the way the man worded it's usage.

"Uhm, thanks." He smiled.

When he heard that he wasn't the only apperantice he frowned slightly, he kinda hoped that there wouldn't be anyone else he'd have to 'compete' with for the attention of his numerous ideas and creations. 'Oh well, I'll just have to work harder', he thought to himself.

He ran a hand through his messy hair, even though he had brushed it at least three times before arriving, it wasn't the least bit orderly.

He listened quietly as his mentor explained the rooming situation.

"Oh okay," he nodded lightly. "I'll have my own bed though, r-right?" He was nervous about meeting strangers, let alone sleeping with them.

Even though this man was his role-model, and he had a slight crush on him every since he had first read about his creation of the Airship in the newspaper. He was handsome, and so out of the boy's leage, but he couldn't help it. Puppy love? Something like that.

"heh if your thinking you have to share with me then no, you bed will be on the top, and about the other 5 they will take there respective teachers, as for you, you will be working with me personally ok" i said as i had taking a liking to the boy, something about him seemed differ from the others he worked with "and if your really good i see to it that you make it on this ship after your done with being an apprentice" i said "now that little wall over there house the shower and bathroom facility, shower and suit up and meet in the confrence room which is down the hall, well be liftin off tonight" i said as i left

“A-alright, thank you.. Sir!” He nodded his head, trying to keep cool even though the man had just confirmed most of his dreams in just one sentence.

He followed the long hallway to the shower room. It was nice and roomy with at least several separate stalls lining each side of the checkered floored room.

Caleb tugged off his vest, not bothering to undo the buttons and tossed it aside onto the bench in the corner of the room. His dress shirt followed along with his shorts and leggings all thrown into a messy pile. His jewelry made a loud clinging sound as it was discarded as well.
It took sometime to figure out which shower knob did what exactly, but after only scalding himself once and having freezing cold water pour down onto his shivering body, he finally figured out the settings.

It was nice, his apartment’s water system was pretty sucky, and this was relaxing. The fair haired boy wished he could have stood under the streaming luke warm water for another hour or two, but he still had the meeting to get to so he quickly washed his drenched hair and scrubbed his slim body rather quickly.

He dried himself off with one of the fluffy towels that hung over the side of the stall and rubbed his hair dry before running a comb and later his fingers through the blonde hair. The suit was kinda cold to be in, so he fixed it by throwing a hoodie overtop of it, which made it look like he was wearing skin tight black leggings on the bottom. He laced up his boots and headed out, following the same hallway back to the conference room.

Caleb took his seat quietly, as other people began to fill the room. He looked around to see if he could see his mentor, but shyness got the best of him and he just focused on twisting his gear necklace in his hand.

"Good Morning, please be seated youngsters." I said as i came into the room. "Welcome abroad the Airship Electrixs, this is the Airship that will become your home for the next two years ok." i said as I sat in the head chair at the end of the conference room.

"There are more apprentices on the ship this year than in the last few years, most of you will notice that a lot of thing are suited to the accommodate our large group." I noted as I brought the airships main plans on the screen behind me "Now this is the map to the ship and your names will appear at the labs you will work at ok, now find your labs and your teacher or mentor will be there shortly to instruct you on the rooms, as of now you are dismissed, I hope your years here on the ship will be the best they can be." I said as I got up and left the room

I came over the intercom "shortly the ship will depart." The operator said, most of the others found the room they would be working at, i was waiting for my apprentice at the top of the ship in the highest part if the bridge.
