The months that followed, Wulfric monitored their recovery and found they were recovering well. He replaced bandages after bandages, stitches removed. He also enhanced some of the feminine features in Licht with some genetic engineering agents to make the changes permanent and did the same to Dunkel with his masculine features. Once they were fully recovered and once they were bare of any bandages or stitches, he waited until the morning after he took them off life support to take them off the anesthesia.

Licht was quiet for the first little bit after he had it removed. He didn't say anything, looking around his sorroundings and seeing his "Brother" near him. After a few minutes, he asked, in a slightly scared voice, "Whats going on. Where am I?"

"You are in Eve's Garden. Your birth home." Wulfric replied as he removed Dunkel from the anesthesia, then he turned to the white haired neko. "I am Dr. Wulfric van Rauschenberg. You may just call me "doctor" or Wulfric, if you'd like." he replied.

He was doing his best to be casual, even though he had often found himself studying Licht a little longer than most of his patients who he found attractive. He almost delayed bringing them into reality, just to be able to do what he wanted with them both for a little longer, but Ivan was growing increasingly impatient. He was never as attracted to his patients awake, but he found it hard to deny Licht was any less attractive.

Dunkel took longer to awaken, but soon his dark colored eyes did open and blinked a few times to adjust to the lighting before he too searched his surroundings.

Licht blinked and glanced at Dunkel again. "Why am I here? Who am I? I don't remember anything," He said getting a little closer to Dunkel. He felt almost attracted to him.

Wulfric smiled seeing that Licht was already attracted to Dunkel. "Your name is Licht. You are a neko, purchased by your master, Ivan Gorge."

Dunkel turned his head to look at Licht as he approached, then slowly sat up on the medical bed and hung his legs over the edge and his feet touched the floor.

"This is your artificial twin, Dunkel. Your "other half" if you'd prefer." Wulfric said, gesturing to Dunkel.

"A Neko," Licht asked, gently touching his ears and tail. "My master," He questioned.

"All will be explained in due time. For now, you must be properly nourished." Wulfric said in reply.

He glanced at his "brother," before looking at the doctor, wondering what he meant by that.

Dunkel was just staring at Licht without saying anything. He found himself mesmerized by the male in front of him, but he also felt strangely attached.

"Your bodies and your minds have been coded to where you feel the other is your other half, without the relation between genetic codes and blood lines and whatnot." Wulfric said as he walked past Licht to open the double doors leading into a large hallway with windows on either side looking out to the city. "Your master will be here in a few moments. I must have you dressed accordingly and properly fed."

Licht blushed, and walked close to Dunkel, holding his hand gently as he followed Wulfric down the hallway.
