advertisements and levels

hi, I joined about two weeks ago and during my first week, I posted about 10 or so times. I just logged in after a week or so and find myself still at level 1 advertisements even though I've been a user for over a week and have more than 2 posts. can anyone explain why I'm still level 1? those large full screen adverts are annoying .__.

Dunno, why it's not going away. I've only been a member for four days now, but I have over 400 posts, uploaded some new pics. The advertisement screen disappeared the second day. Maybe you should try to ask Stoner, RobM, Sagittarius, Ai. They're in charge of the site, and maybe they could help ya.

It'll come, don't worry.
13 posts and waiting two weeks after that - thats the best bet.


@ Titium, your an aberation. You managed to post so much in a few days you jumped straight to senior member leapfrogging standard. I'm hoping to stop that in future <_<

i have the same problem... it's really annoying... ._.

This makes about the fourth bump to existing advert threads in as many weeks by people not reading the rest of the posts.

My first reply makes it pretty clear I don't think people with two/three posts are going to get off minimal levels and my posts in other threads on this forum also make it clear that the "Two posts" thing is hopelessly outdated.

Its much closer to 10+ posts.

You have three posts... including your post complaining that you're still getting advertising. All of them posted today.
Seriously, this was your first post on the forum ever, what do you expect?

Also, why is everyone so happy to aim for the absolute bottom rung? The lowest membership still has heavy advertising (Just not full screen ads), you are supposed to proceed towards senior membership - we make it incredibly easy to contribute. If you want to remain a lurker, advertising is the price you pay.
