Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 2 or more posts who has been a member over a week) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 30 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

Vincent smiled watching Rick fall asleep. Even with that attitude, he was as adorable as ever. He slowly walked out of the bedroom and walked to a little closet he had with cleaning supplies. He carried a bucket of cleaning solution, a sponge, and a bucket of water to rinse the sponge in so he doesn't get blood in the cleaning solution. He started scrubbing away at the dried blood on the floor on his hands and knees, trying to be as quiet as possible so he didn't wake up Rick as sensitive as his ears were now.

The sounds didn't wake up Rick.. but the smell did. With an almost inaudible groan he turned his face down, feeling sick from everything that he felt. He was deeply unhappy with it all.. but he couldn't even yell at the vampire since he would hurt himself that way as well.

Vincent tossed the sponge into the water bucket and sighed softly, having scrubbed off all of the blood, leaving behind a cleaner smell. He stood slowly and carried the buckets out of the room and he poured the bloody water down the drain in the kitchen sink. He then did the same with the cleaner and rinsed out both buckets and the sponge he used. He may be old and somewhat insane, but he did keep a clean environment...to an extent.

As it all stopped the smell started to be a bit less overwhelming and after some time Rick was able to fall asleep once again. Maybe his body didn't need rest that badly but his mind sure did. Even Rick couldn't stay unfazed by something like that.

Vincent came back into the bedroom after putting the bucket and sponge away and he sat on the bed next to the sleeping newborn vampire and he just watched Rick sleep while he himself remained awake. He knew how tiring it was, how overwhelming it all was...just everything with the new smells, the new sounds. His mother cradled him in her arms outside and tried soothing him as he took everything in. Even that proved a challenge.

Rick was sleeping for the next few hours. It was normal thing that his system tried to defend the sanity of his mind. As he opened his eyes he first thought that maybe it was all a dream.. but then he felt his fangs, even in their hidden state being much longer than what he was used to.
