It was surprisingly nice and not annoying the way Vincent got him to the couch. Somehow, although he normally would grumble about it, now he didn't feel like doing anything like that. Sighing softly he thought about his work for the first time since... some time that felt like forever. Vincent walked away from Rick to go back to the bedroom where he tore the sheets off and put them in the hamper to be washed and he walked to the bathroom where he took a quick shower. It was getting repetitive...him and Rick would fight a little, maybe talk, have sex, then fall asleep together with a few eating sessions in between. He felt oddly content with everything that was happening between him and the former-human, but he wasn't sure what Rick was thinking. He could never tell what Rick was thinking. That man acted one way and then said something completely opposite.

Rick's mind wondered from thought to thought, for the first time thinking out seriously everything that happened so far. Sure it was all crazy... but he didn't find any reason it would be wrong for him to enjoy the current situation. He normally was the analitical, cold type and he knew it. Yet Vincent with his temper and craziness... and being able to overpower him... The least he could say it was damn sexy and interesting. Even if it irritated him or angered at times. Smirking he rubbed his neck and sighed once again.

Vincent came out in a bathrobe and with a towel to dry his hair as he walked over to where Rick was sitting. He sat on the couch where he wouldn't be sitting on the other male and just watched his little vampire for a moment. He wondered if they would be this compatible if he hadn't turned the former-human. Would they get along as well? Vincent wasn't sure, but he did know that Rick needed him more than Rick was willing to admit.
