"Its, complicated," He said with a sigh, taking a sip of his drink. "I wanted him to come with me, but, we had an arguement, and he lied to me," He sighed, not sure why he was telling this neko all of this.

Adam rised his eyebrows at what he heard.
"Oh really? And.. how much time he spent with you? Most of us, and I trust you won't say anyone what I'm telling you now.. is quite stupid. Is your neko the inteligent one? Was a bad kitty in his previous life? Did you let him keep his personality?", he asked softly, so only Kevin would be able to hear him.

He wondered slightly how this neko knew about that, but answered truthfully. "Its been about two days now," He said with a frown, touching the neko's ears. "He was bad before, but I did let im keep his personality. He's not as easy and willing as you are," He said, scratching the ears.

Adam purred softly and then smiled.
"Well.. then think of what he needed to go through. You know what is done to us. Do you really think you would be able accept just anyone? Trust him?", he asked and then smiled softly. "Take your kitty with you next time.. or even now. Show him you are not like others.. Do you love your kitty? Was he someone important to you?"
Adam was a most experienced bar tender around here so he really knew a lot stories.

"I quess I understand," He said with a frown. "Its just, that well, there's something you need to know about him. Something, that I haven't even told him, something that if he knew would change his entire perspective of me."

"What it is, Master. Tell me and maybe I would be able to help", he said softly, not rushing Kevin in any way.

"Don't call me that, and you can't. Unless you have a way to change the past," He said with a sigh. He then began to tell his story. "I am thirty-three now, and when I was eleven, I met a man by the name of James. He was an older man, twenty-five when I met him. You need to remember that my parents are rich, and I went through nanny after nanny, growing up to be a regular spoiled brat. But then one day, they hired this man, James, to be my guardian while my parents were away. He raised me from that point on into the man I am today. But, this story doesn't have a happy ending. When I turned ninteen, the man developed cancer, and passed away," He said with a slight pause. "But before he died, he told me that before he met me, he had a wife, who left him one day and went into the deep city. She was pregnant," He said with a frown.

Adam listened and then smiled.
"So your partner is the child of that man?", he asked simply. "Is he a neko? How you received him? Or more like found?"

"I found him when he was twenty years old. He was in jail, and was offered the usual Neko deal. You know, turn into a Neko, or life in jail. I might have pulled some strings to make sure that he was given that chance," He said with a slight blush. "I also paid off the scientists to keep his personality the way it was, and to keep him mostly untouched. But he has no idea who he really is, or anything," He said with a frown.

"And? What is your problem with him?", asked Adam, knowing other male needed to talk.
He even ordered another drink to him. That was the purpose of bar tenders abd that why Ivan kept their memories. They were to help throubled people in there.. and make them even more close to everything associated with nekos.
