Marc waited, and when it seemed Averlain didn't need anything, he went out. He enjoyed the night, and his meal. When he came back, he was still buzzing. Feeding tended to have that affect on him. He wanted to check on Averlain, and quietly snuck into his room. He watched the other sleep for a bit. Mmm, he was so cute. He could probably take his ass right now, if he wanted. He felt himself tent in his pants.... No, he shouldn't. Tomorrow though. So he snuck back out, retreating to his room as the sun rose.

Averlain, for his part, had a very restful sleep. When he awoke in the morning, he rubbed his eyes with both hands, and sat up. "It wasn't a dream..." he mumbled softly, looking around, still in disbelief.

The castle was rather large, but a lot of the rooms where not in use. Those usually had sheets over the furniture, and a layer of dust. The ones that were in use looked closer to Averlain's room, as far as neatness. All around, torches lined the wall so that one could navigate where they went.

Marc had indeed been alone for a long time. Longer than a lot of people, due to his extended life span. He got some interaction, when he went out to hunt, but that was... paltry, compared to having an actual companion. He did, however, have a huge library.

Averlain had found the library, and looked around in awe. "This is more books than the village owns all together..." he said under his breath, running his fingers across the spine of a book that looked ancient, before investigating others.

His library was one of the things Marc was very proud of. If Averlain was interested in reading any, he wouldn't mind. Of course, in order to tell him as such, he'd have to be awake.
