"I mean you are right that you only see me in the bar and stuff and I shouldn't keep you away from your partner much longer...as for my address...forget I mentioned it for today so I shall catch you later and Jake...take your contract and go."

Kotetsu pushed the contract into Jakes hands as he began to walk away being free from his grasp. He turned to give a small and a wave good-bye as he left the two of them.

Jake gave a hearty laugh at what Jayson said as he began to walk to his vehicle with the contract. An evil smile forming as he thought about some very fun things to do. Well even though I got cock blocked a couple of times, butI think my chances are slowly rising.
Kotetsu wondered why the walk to his apartment felt longer than usual as he was kicking himself mentally. He was right...he doesn't know who I am outside the bar and I only give him my problems about work and such. So why did I ask him to my place again? Damn...I'm such a pathetic old man.

Later that day as always Jayson opened up; though it was a half hour late. He sat at the bar with a newspaper in hand and cigarette in his mouth. He yawned slightly tired since he didn't sleep as much as he normally did.

Kotetsu was looking everywhere for his hat as he fell into his normal routine, but was freaking out as that hat was a gift from Tomoe. Well...more like they went shopping together and she said it looked great on him. Remembering that the last time he had it was at the bar, he gulped as he made his way down and stood outside the door for a few moments before walking inside.

"It is...and I wanted to apologize about earlier today. I know that you like your privacy and I shouldn't drag you out and stuff," walking to the bar he picks up the hat smiling warmly. "...heh I sound pretty uncool right now." Placing his hat over his eyes. "So....a glass of scotch on the rocks?"

Kotetsu wanted to get rid of any awkwardness they had and go back to patron and bartender relationship as he sat down. He will admit that he still wanted to be cool in his eyes, but old words do come back as he asks himself mentally, maybe I am washed up.
