Kotetsu nodded and started eating, his ears listening for the door to click closed as he quickly got up and went to the bedroom. Plugging in his phone he dialed Nathan and told him that he was ready for pick up and this time he was going to stay there. Hanging up he finished packing the minor stuff as he got dressed, finished the breakfast and cleaned up. Taking a look around to make sure that every trace of him was gone, he walked out the bar and waited for Nathan to arrive.

Jsydon was gone a few hours. And while he was out he did some shopping. He saw Kotetsu had cleared out and stretched. "Well then I'll clean a bit then try to nap before opening up..." he said to himself.

When Nathan picked him up, they drove to his place and chatter was almost non existent. Kotetsu was happy that he has his own room again, but a part of him felt sad that he wasn't with Jayson anymore.

"You okay, Tiger?"

"Yeah, just happy to have a room to myself again...and thank you. When I find another place I-"

"Tiger, you don't have to move. Just stay here, hmm?"

"...thank you again..."

"Don't mention it, but I need to head back. I will bring the others later okay?"

"Yeah, sounds like fun," he smiled as he went to unpacking and doing laundry.

Kotetsu was able to set everything up by the time the gang arrived with pizza and soda. They were all happy to see him and Pao and Ivan were extremely excited about the episodes that were focused on them, after the initial shock of him not having his trademark beard of course. Karina was sociable and smiled at him as they talked and Bunny...well he was brooding in a corner as Nathan was with him talking.

After some work he closed up ear;y since he was a little tired. So he went up to his room and showered up then ate a light meal before going to take a nap.

The nights festivities were ending as everyone spent the night (adults got drunk) and since it was the weekend without work they were fine. Kotetsu made Ivan, Pao-Lin, and Karina call their parents to let them know what was going on (minus drinking) and called it a night. The next morning, Kotetsu made breakfast for everyone and set up the table. Bunny didn't say anything, but he knew that when everyone left, they would need to talk again.

Jayson's nap turned to sleep and he woke up early. After he decided to go for a run. So he did some stretching and grabbed his phone before he left.

As everyone dispersed, Kotetsu wondered how Jayson was doing and figured that the young man has already forgotten about his existence. He let out a small sigh as bunny started to call his name.

"Old man...Kotetsu? Kotetsu!" Barnaby said in a raised voice and sighed when the old man jumped.

"YES?!" He said with an awkward smile as they walked down the street.

"You weren't listening were you?"

"Of course I was bunny!"

"Then what was I saying?"

Kotetsu sweated for a moments as he thought long and hard and snapped his fingers. "Bunny was telling me about how amazing I was and that the station was falling without me," he smiled jokingly and that caused Barnaby to sigh yet again.

"I wanted us to talk..."

"Are you still angry then?"

"Not as much, but I want to-"

"Bunny...my answer is still the same. You and I have worked together closely for over a year. You know stuff about me, just like I know stuff about you. I just...don't see you in that light is all," Kotetsu looked down as he shoved his hands in his pocket.

"Why not give me a chance? Kotetsu I believe I love you!" Barnaby grabbed Kotetsu's arm and dragged him off to the side of a building.

Kotetsu stood there wide-eyed at Barnaby's sudden confession and he felt a chill run down his spine which was coupled by the cold wall that he was pressed against. The others lips crashed against his own in a clumsy kiss, but Kotetsu would admit that his partners lips were soft. When he was released, Barnaby looked into his eyes and hoped for something, anything at this point.

"Bunny..." Kotetsu didn't say anything more as he looked away and sighed. "If you did love me...wouldn't you have been treated me differently over our friendship?"

It was Barnaby's eyes turn to widen slightly as his hands dug into others arm through clothing. "I-I do! I mean, I can!"

"Bunny," Kotetsu looked back at him and pushed Barnaby away to give them some space. "Love is complex and this feeling you call 'love' is nothing more than a frustration or a crush. You need to find someone that you can love wholeheartedly and this person makes you feel like a better person. They make you feel stronger."

"You make me feel like that! You-"

"Bunny, are you confusing the love for me as a father figure in your life or as a lover?"

That stopped Barnaby as he just stood their silently and looked away. With a "tch" he turned on his heels and walked away from him quickly, leaving Kotetsu alone.
