"I was told that Kotetsu was here," he said as he looked around the room. "Where is he?"

"Oh, you're a friend of his?" she asked. "He's upstairs with my brother, the stairs are over there just past the bathrooms," Julie told him. "Though please be quiet I think my brother just got him to sleep," she warned.

Jayson was surprised with what he found on the drug then looked over at the sleeping Kotetsu, "you went through a lot..." he mumbled. Jayson patted his head then covered him up more as he sat by him.

Barnaby ran past her as fast as he could and walked quickly up the stairs. Reaching the door his hand shook as he grabbed the door knob and opened the door. "Kotetsu?"

Jayson looked to the door, "he's asleep..." he said. "Please leave him be the nurse said rest and fluids... and at this point he doesn't want to be touched."

The look on Barnaby's face was a mixture between anger and hurt, but instead he just gritted his teeth and clenched his fists. "I will have him move in with me when he's better and...he is on vacation until he is ready to come back..." There was more Barnaby wanted to say but didn't. It was probably for the best as he turned around and left. A few seconds later there was a loud bang! Being most likely a fist hitting a wall.

Kotetsu groaned in his sleep as his brows furrowed together. He shifted in the covers a little bit as if his body was looking for something or someone.

".........." Jayson sighed and stood pulling him back into the room to sit in the chair while he went to sit back on the bed. "First off if there's any damage to my place you'll be paying for it," he said. "And second you should let him decide what he wants to do," Jayson told him. "He's a grown man you know," he commented looking to Kotetsu. "And last if there's something else you wanna say say it."

"No...there isn't and I will pay for any damages. As for moving in, he has no place to go and if we need to move his stuff now I have the space to spare anyways," replied Barnaby, not realizing his tone of voice was more like challenging Jayson than anything else.

"Is that so, well if Kotetsu's okay with it.... and I'm shre we're no more than a year or so apart so lose the bratty attitude.." Jayson sighed. "Look, you can challenge me or whatever..... but if you've got a thing for him stop trying to force something with making him move in with you.... anyway he can't be moved no will I let him until I'm sure he's fine."

Jayson looked Barnaby over, "and if you think there's something going on between this guy and me you're wrong," he said. "Same goes for if you think I'll try something...."

Barnaby was taken aback from those words and waited patiently for Jayson to finish before he responded. "I may care about it, but I don't have those types of feelings for the old-for Kotetsu. Also I didn't realize I was being bratty or maybe you are just overly defensive, but it doesn't matter either way since I don't have a say to who he can be with or not," the look on Barnaby's face just showed annoyance at this point as he continued. "I will just wait for his call to tell me what he needs from me and...I thank you for saving him. He's an old-fashioned, trusting, and annoying man, but...he is too kind to have something like this happen to him." With that Barnaby bowed at the waste like he has seen Kotetsu do a few times when he got into major trouble and by this time it was just habit.

Straightening himself he went to the door, "I hope he gets better soon." Once Jayson was finished talking to him, Barnaby leaves and walks down the stairs and out the bar to his bike to head home.

As Barnaby walked out Julie bowed, "have a nice day," she said then went back to serving customers.

Jayson sighed, "man I'm tired..." he stretched. "I guess I'll go set up the couch," he mumbled then stood and stretched.
