Kotetsu blinked a few times before making a pouty face and he leaned forward. His elbows on the bar and his face smashed between his hands. "No fun."

Once the root beer was served he took a happy sip and looked at the bartender. "So Birdie, what do you do outside of work? Do you just stay at home or go out with the girlfriend? With the way you cook you would be a catch!"

"I'm single," he told him. "And I don't really have friends so I sleep most of the day since I work odd hours."

[Ybfan]

"Oh..." Kotetsu thought for a moment as he sat up straight. "I got an idea! Want to come to station with me sometime? Give you a tour and show you my awesomeness." Grinned the older man happily as he shifted his body to the side slightly to cross a leg and leaned on his hand.

"Won't you be thought of as weird, taking some twenty year old, and a guy at that to your studio?" he asked. "A cute girl will be better you know, even if she is younger than you by over five years." he turned to the kitchen and looked in. "Excuse me a moment, I think my dinner'll burn if I don't go get it," he said then bowed a bit before walking off to get it.

Kotetsu blinked a few times and didn't say anything that would hold Jayson up from his dinner. Once the bartender returned he said, "what does that have to do with anything? Showing a friend where you work isn't a bad thing you know. But yeah a cute girl would be nice. Would look great in a nurses outfit or something." Giving his trademark smile he looked over at his dinner. "What did you make?"

"Simple omlette," he said. "Though I only say that cause rumors spread and an actor with a young friend can quickly get twisted into something else and ruin your reputation," he stated.

[Ybfan]

"Not really an actor. Just a live action hero that's apparently washed up according to some. Besides I think I am being turned into a paper bitch and I just have to make sure my partner looks good since he is an up and coming star. Besides, rumors are rumors. No truth to them," finishing his root beer he gives a small jump when his phone vibrates. Taking a quick look his face turns to dread. "Hey uh...can I pay for the root beer tomorrow? It looks like I am getting a visitor at my place soon..."

"Of course, you're my best customer," he smiled. "Good luck," he said. "And if it's worth anything I don't think you're washed up," he stated. "I'll also take you up on your offer," he nodded. "If it's still on the table.."

Giving a thumbs up he gives Jayson a big grand smile as he headed to the door. "See ya later little birdie!" With that he ran to his apartment cursing to the fact that his partner was going to show up there shortly.

When he got there he saw the motorcycle and his stomach dropped as he slowly walked up the stairs and tried to act cool. Especially when he saw Barnaby.

"Where were you old man? You said you were home," questioned Barnaby as he gave a glare to Kotetsu.

"I uh went to get milk and carrots. Thought that the bunny would like some," he grinned.

"I told you it's not bunny, it's Barnaby," he retorted back before eying him. "Did anyone ever tell you you are a horrible liar?"

"Me? A liar? Nooo," said Kotetsu with some sarcasm as he walked past Barnaby to open up the apartment. "So what brings you here?"

"I am just here to let you know that you will be with Jake tomorrow. He said he needed a place to stay so the company said that he will be staying with you. I decided to deliver the news since they said they couldn't find you," his face seemed to gauge Kotetsu's reaction as he walked inside.

"That bastard is what?!" Shouted Kotetsu in shock. "Why can't the damn company get him a hotel or something?!"

"He said he wanted to do some work related practice after working hours. Unlike you, he is taking his new role seriously. He is going from being a villain in this industry to a 'reformed' villain. The company seemed to like his pitch and while I am doing my photo shoots and a guest appearances he will be my replacement. Do try to get along with him," Barnaby rubbed his forehead as he seemed a little uneasy about it as well, but wouldn't voice it.

"You know the others won't get along with him either. A couple of them have some personal grudges," added Kotetsu.

"Then I guess you better make sure he doesn't get into trouble."

"...Fine..."

"Thank you and I promise to bring you back a something if you stay good," smirked Barnaby as he turned to leave.

"Why couldn't you just tell me this over the phone?" Asked Kotetsu as he stayed where he was and scratched his chin.

"I could of, but wanted to make sure you were going to be okay with it in person. But we should be going back to our normal schedule next week with a few showings then we have lots of paperwork to do. Hope you will be ready."

"Ugh...I guess so. Night Bunny."

"Night old man."

Next day and later that week:

Kotetsu did just that. He knew Keith the company airhead would get upset upon seeing Jake as they got into a fight over a girl in the past in which Keith lost horribly. His best friend Antonio was just angry to see him period over something that happened that even he didn't know what it was about. Karina, one of their minors, hated the look he would give her just because he looked creepy.

Kotetsu just wanted the week to go by quickly and the worst part was he had two more days with the bastard. With Jake hanging onto him like super glue he didn't go to the bar like he had planned. It wasn't until Friday that Jake was finally going to go back to his own company in a different city. He was going to do some voice acting for a villain (go figure) that they thought he would be perfect for.

The last day he was able to ditch Jake and ran like his life depended on it to the bar. Walking inside he sees Jayson and gives a big wave. "Long time no see birdie!" He was sweating a little bit as he took off his hat and loosened up his tie upon sitting at his usual seat.

"Wow, it's been a while," he nodded. "I thought you'd found somewhere else to go," Jayson chuckled then handed him a beer. "Glad to see you still come here, well here you are..."
