Jayson came down and got in the cab. As they drove he stared out the window.

[Ybfan]

"So what's on your mind? You were kind of like this yesterday as well," he asked in a low voice as he couldn't help but look over (again) Jayson's features.

[YaoiLotus]

"Nothing much just a little worried about my friend," he replied. "But that's not important now, how excited are you to see your daughter?" he asked.

[Ybfan]

"I'm very excited...and...well I will tell you when we get out of the cab," he smiled. "What kind of person is your friend? Unless that's too personal that is then I completely understand."

[YaoiLotus]

Well kind and caring, took more care of me than my parents did," he said. "Cared for me more too," Jayson added. "Never judge me helped me through finding out I liked guys and helped me become comfortable with it.." he replied. He leaned against the window of the cab his eyes distant as he thought the past.

[Ybfan]

Kotetsu whispered "I see" and left it at that. He wasn't the type to pry really, but meddling was something he did. However this occasion didn't call for such meddling, so he looked out the opposite window and just remembered the words that Nathan told him.


[Earlier that day]
Nathan handed him the envelope and used a well manicured finger to tilt Kotetsu's chin to have him look him in the eyes. "Tell me Tiger, when we showed up you had the cutest blush appear on your face. Care to tell me why?" He cooed.

"I don't remember that," stated Kotetsu as he was about to pull away but was stopped when Nathan's thumb joined to grip his chin.

"Despite the light of certain events, I want you to use the money I am giving you to take your little Jay out to dinner. Inside is the location where I think you should go and have fun. Also Tiger...nevermind..." He said as he released him. Nathan didn't have the heart to ask him if something happened between them when he was drugged since well, he makes sure to keep close tabs to those closest to him.

[YaoiLotus]

"So have you been to this place before?" he turned to Kotetsu. "I mean you weren't lying when you said it was far and this is far, you and I live close to each other so I should've figured far was the same for us both..."

[Ybfan]

"Um...I've only been here once and I haven't gone back since," replied Kotetsu as he also faced Jayson. As usual he was holding back, but no way is he going to say 'I came here with Tomoe right before she..' Kotetsu ended that train of thought and instead just scratched his chin.

[YaoiLotus]

"Then I won't say anymore," Jayson said figuring Kotetsu wouldn't say anymore. "Thank yu for taking me though," he said then turned away to look at the people and cars as they passed.

After about an half hour or so they arrived at their destination. Kotetsu took out the money and handed it to the cab driver that gave him some change as he held the door open for Jayson. The place was nice with it's ivory walls and red clay roof. The mural outside was that of a vineyard in Italy with a sunset in the background. The inside was nice as it had various seating (mainly booth focus) with some stringed lights in forms of grapes decorating the walls with some vines. In the center was a very nice wine and spirits bar that went up a wall as a scrolling ladder.

Before entering the main dining area, a young woman in a uniform was there at the podium as she smiled and greeted the two gentlemen. Kotetsu walked up to her and asked for a booth and when he gave her his name, she smiled and opened a red reservations book.

"This way and you two actually have a reservation," she smiled softly and took them to their table. It was in the corner with a semi-circular booth and even though there were people there, they were too absorbed into their own conversation to take note of them.

"Your waiter will be with you shortly," she said as she bowed to them and left.

"This place hasn't changed at all..." smiled Kotetsu as he looked around and muttered. "Guess he's one step ahead of me..."
