It was raining. The rain was heavy, flooding the streets of Manchester. A jolly young man, Hugs, woke up suddenly due to the rain. He got up from bed and walked towards his bedroom window. He looked outside and saw many people running into their homes. Hugs always thought rain was depressing, so he went back to his bed. He checked the calendar. It was March 7th, a rainy saturday... Several minutes later, Hugs turned the TV on and watched the news. Apparently it was raining in Ireland, all over the United Kindgom actually.

Anyway, since it was raining, he was doomed to spend the whole day at home. So, he started playing "Digimon Battle Heroes" on his Nintendo DS. He had already recruited a few digimon but his Renamon was by far his strongest. He started training her and all of a sudden, a huge flash brightened the room! Hugs went blind for a few moments.

Whe he got his vision back, his NDS was shining and quickly turned into some strange gizmo with a small monitor, from where a pixelated Renamon was waving. Hugs asked himself if that was a digivice and then it flashed! He started yelling as he covered his eyes and he opened them, he was in a completely different place!

He looked around and he seemed to be in some kind of forest. Even his clothes were different! Then, all of a sudden, some beasty voice asked "are you my partner?". Hugs turned around and there she was... Renamon!

"I have been waiting for you." she said.
"Waiting for me?" he replied.
"Yes. I have been waiting all this time for a human who cares about digimon." said Renamon.
"Say what?! Oh bugger, this time I really drank too much..."
"Despite what you're thinking, I AM real and you are completely sober."
"I'm talking to a digimon... but how did I get here?!" asked Hugs.
"Well, a dimensional vortex opened between your world and ours. I suspect someone wants to..."

But before she could finish her sentence, some bushes started to shake...

Aiden was stuck at home again. But this time it was because of the weather. "Great....another day of being stuck inside. Why can't something good happen for once even if its crapy outside?" He had been living with his friends for a while and decided that it wasnt the greatest thing for him. He needed his own place. At age 18, being alone in a house trying to watch tv with digimon pjs wasn't all that hard. Aiden sratched his light blonde hair and thought to himself "I'm hungry now..." So he got up and looked around for something to make. Nothing seemed to satisfy what he wanted. As he closed his fridge door he heard a buzzing sound coming from his room. "Hm...must be my cell phone." After investigating his phone Aiden found out that it wasn't his cell phone but rather his Nintendo Ds.

"What caused that to happen?" Just as the question was asked Aiden watched as his Ds opened up and emited a white beam. Soon it got bigger and wider covering the whole room. Aiden was blinded by the light and scream out of fear. "Aiden...Aiden please wake up!" A weird voice called out to Aiden. He'd never heard it before but yet it sounded so familiar. Aiden slowly came to when he saw a multi-colored forest that he knew was also familiar. Finally gaining his vision, a dog like creature was standing in front of Aiden. "Gabu....mon?" Aiden passed out once more from weakness. Gabumon must of caused the bush to shake but not making any real appareneces. Where ever Aiden was, all he knew was that it didn't look like home.

"Is someone there?" asked Hugs.
"Master, stay back. I'll take care of this." said Renamon. She continued to speak as she readied her battle pose "You have five seconds to show yourself. Otherwise I will blast away the sorroundings!"

Hugs thought that maybe Renamon was being a bit too rash, but he was too scared to think about his possibilities.

With Aiden still out cold, Gabumon had no idea what to do. After hearing the semi threat from Renamon he thought it would be best to show himself.

"Don't attack!" he yelled as he slowly walked out of the bushes. He was greeted with a human and a tall human-fox-like digimon, Renemon.

[b]"I'm Gabumon. A friendly wolf like digimon. I was walking around when I saw this white light. A human fell from it and woke up for a little bit. Sadly he fell back to sleep and I don't know what wrong." Gabumon was clearly worried about Aiden. He'd hope that Renamon and this other human could help out somehow.

Hugs immediately stepped forward and ordered Renamon to stop. He walked towards Gabumon and the injured young man and when he was about to reach them, Renamon yelled.

"Wait! It must be a trap!"
"But the bloke is seems injured. We have to help them!" said Hugs.
"Master, what if Gabumon was the one who did it?" asked Renamon.
"You may be right, but..." said Hugs.
"Then again, this digimon MAY be that human's partner." said Renamon.
"You're right!" he said and then turned to Gabumon "Gabumon was it? You said your partner just appeared out of nowhere right? And you said you saw a white light, am I correct?"

"Yes I think he is. I didn't check to see if he had a digivice on him. I thought that would be rude." Gabumon was worried. He was hoping that this pair would be able to help him out. "There is a cave near by that might be safe. Its better than being out in the open. We could be attacked or something by anyone. Everyone has been acting really strange lately."

Hugs and Renamon agreed and helped Gabumon carry the human to the cave. When they got there, they laid him on a bed they made out of leaves they found along the away and Renamon walked out of the cave.

"Where are you going?" asked Hugs.
"I'm going to find a plant-type Digimon. I recall passing by a village of Palmon before I found you. They might help me gather healing herbs to make a medicine." answered Renamon.
"Ok, but don't be gone for too long." he said.
"Do not worry, I will be back in no time. In the meanwhile, I trust Gabumon will protect you while I'm away..." she said and disappeared right after.

Gabumon turned to Hugs. "Don't worry I'll keep you safe." he said with a smile. But something seemed to be bugging him. Two humans have appeared in the digi-world. But why? Gabumon sat down next to Aiden to keep him warm. [b]"So who are you? And what are you doing here?"

"I'm Hugs. Nice making your acquaintance! I have no idea why I'm here. I simply kind of warped to this world and when I got here, Renamon said she had been waiting for me" he said while smiling.

He wasn't sure himself, he was really confused. But since he saw another human there, he felt a bit safer. He wasn't the only one.

"So, uum, you're a Gabumon... I had one in my videogame. Eventually he digivolved into a Garurumon! But I guess this isn't a game anymore..." he said.

Then, he sat down and sighed.

"Hmm...Hugs seems like a nice guy." Gabumon thought to himself. "Well Renamon can sometimes be harsh and straight forward. But I like her though. There is something about her thats mysterious about her." Something seemed to be bothering Hugs.
"Hey don't worry. I don't really know why both you and Aiden are here but lets enjoy it. I"m sure its for the better." Gabumon hoped that the Palmon village had what was needed to help Aiden awaken faster.
