Simon approached the blonde lad and lifted the rim of his hat from his eyes to gaze down at him before lowering onto one knee. He gently shooed away the birds by his face and one decided to crawl up his arm to his shoulder and he gently petted its back while staring at him silently. Naoki looked up at the man when he shooed away the birds. By now his ears was bleeding and few others scratches. So he wasn't going to kill him like those other people? Though before he was able to say anything he saw and felt warm hand on his face and felt.. sleepy. Soon everything turned dark around him and the last thing he thought was the hope that blackhaired male won't do anything bad to him.

Simon snuck Naoki to his home in the darkest cave he could find, illuminated only by torches on the wall. Simon suspended the blond on a hook by the chain between two cuffs he had clasped on Naoki's wrists. He then slowly walked away over to a wooden table and lifted a hand to the crow that was still on his shoulder and it dissolved into black energy that was absorbed into the skull on his wrist. "Good boy..." he said softly.

Naoki whimpered a bit through the magic inducted dream where he saw the same crows that were attacking him before. He dreamt of himself runing away from them but they were closer and closer each time he looked behind himself.

Simon approached Naoki and tilted his head a little to the side as he stared at him. He did have a need for a good thief, but something was different about this lad than any other candidate. He smelled sweet, yes, but there was something else. Maybe that he was smart and fast in running?

Naoki woke up from his nightmare as the crows reached to tear him to shreds. He blinked few times and then he realised his chin was held by the mage from ealier.. and that he couldn't move. He looked up and saw the chains. It made his face go ghostly pale as he looked back at the man.
"What do you want from me?", he asked, remembering he said he needed a thief.

Simon slid his fingers against Naoki's skin as he pulled his hands away. "I need someone who can get a few supplies for me. The black market has raised their prices again...according to a little..." he paused to pinch the black feather on his hat. "birdie...and I need someone skilled and fast to get then from the docking station. Someone fast. Someone smart." he said softly before pulling off the feather from his hat and he held it in front of Naoki's face. "Or...I could kill you...and steal your youth for myself. Your choice."

Naoki shivered a bit at the touch, still observing the mage. Biting his lower lip he was thinking for few moments.
"And what would stop you from killing me when I will finish what you want me to?", asked the boy, thinking quickly about everything quickly. "But I guess I don't have much choice, do I? Fine.. I will do that. Though I'm sure they are magically protected, those supplies..? Or not?"
Naoki got curious with it.. Wouldn't it be fun to try and steal that for the mage?

"Some of them...others need to be handled with great care." Simon replied before placing his feather back onto his hat. He could sit here and explain all what he needed, but he was on a time limit. Every now and then, he needed to cast the spell in order to keep himself young. It was a headache, but Simon had lived too long to just sit around and die. "I will give you the first ingredient and you will track it down tonight. However...if you run...or if you fail to get precisely what I ask for...consider yourself bird food." he said softly.

"Now...of course the guards will recognize you looking the way you do...so, I'm going to cast a spell and I will decide whether or not to make it permanent."

"Okay..", sighed Naoki, defeated and still quite scared though a bit too curious for his own good. "Birds.. will they... like.. eat me alive? And what permanent look? I like the way I look.. I'm not your property, ya 'now?"
