He had an urge to go out, look at things, take things. He wasn't surprised. Naoki having cat ears and a tail, as well as other feline accessories, just made the curiosity and wanting to be independent make more sense. Simon rubbed Naoki's stomach gently, in slow, caring circles. "But, if we don't send you out with someone...and you get hurt or get in trouble...how would we be able to get to you quickly?" he asked softly.

Naoki tried to find an answer to what Simon told him but he wasn't able to. They were simply worried about him.. That and the rubbing given to his flat stomach felt just so relaxing. It soon made him purr softly.

"You understand that if you get hurt or get in trouble, both Itzel and I would be devastated. You're important to the both of us. At least let me watch you from a distance if you want to go out, just to make sure you won't get injured." Simon said as he continued to rub Naoki's stomach. He wanted to make a compromise. He still remembered having to punish Naoki for spilling a chemical that caused an explosion. He didn't get angry because he had to make it again, he was more frightened if anything that Naoki's curiosity could've ended in a tragedy and Simon may not have been able to un-do what would've been done. His necromancy skills weren't as keen as his other abilities. Even if they were, to bring Naoki back and have the risk of only having an empty shell instead of the real Naoki...Simon didn't even want to think about it.

"Let me go tell Itzel that we're leaving. He looked like he was still pretty out of it and it wouldn't be nice if he woke up and we were gone." Simon said before he released Naoki to do just that. He walked away from the neko, deeper into the cave to where he had settled and he made his way over to the bed where the shifter continued to slumber.

"Itzel...hey, Itzel." Simon said softly as he crawled onto the bed so he could get close enough to shake that muscular, toned body until he heard a tired groan erupt from the mess of black hair covering aitzel's face. "Naoki wants to go for a walk. I'm going to watch him and make sure he doesn't get hurt. You stay here and watch the cave, okay?"

"Alright...you both be careful." Itzel replied underneath the hair hiding his face.

Simon gave a little chuckle as he rose from the bed to return to where Naoki was. "I'm not the one you should worry about. I'm not that old, you know."

But Naoki wasn't there anymore. Whole Simon was busy with Itzel and all his ears twitched and he had that glint in his eyes. Making sure to be as quiet as he could he sneaked out and run into the forest. Only after he was sure he was alone he stopped, breathing a bit quicker than normally. Looking around he realised.. that he wasn't sure where was the cave anymore. Blinking he decided to see where he was. After all he didn't get many chances to be in the forest by himself.

Simon returned to where the neko was only to find the neko wasn't there anymore and, in a panick, he left the cave in a run to head to the main trail where he though Naoki would've went. But, the trail went to the town. Why would Naoki follow the trail to head to town if he wanted to explore? Why follow the main trail? No, Naoki would go off the trail just to get away from the road and go deep into the trees.

Naoki was enjoying himself greatly.. yet remembering what Simon said the first time he was with the mage in woods and kept away from things that could bite him and such. Though he still didn't realise there were other dangers in the woods than those animals. His ears twitched when he heard something moving not so far from him. It seemed like it was something big. Too curious for his own good he headed that way, trying to be as quiet as he could. Soon enough he saw what it was and his ears lowered. The thing he saw was like half human and half spider... or it was the way Naoki would describe it he wouldn't be so scared. It didn't have eyes and it seemed like mouth as well... but then it showed, full of sharp teeth. A creepily long tongue darted out of there... as if checking the air around it. And then it moved.. letting out a small, soft, scream-like sound. Naoki didn't wait any longer.. and he did a wise thing since he heard it running after him even before he was able to start moving. Now he was deeply regretting going out by himself.. or even thinking about it.
