A demons tale (for me and Zajawa)

The wine was delicious "This wine is perfect I'm not used to drinking such quality." this was a wonderful surprise. He finished the rabbit and started mixing in the caramelized onions and mushrooms to the pan to cook with the rabbit meat. He was finnally finished and it smelled amazing.

"Well.. this wine was a gift from my teacher when I saw her the last time.. She received from me a scarf done by fairies you already met", he said with a smile. "The smell of the meal you're preparing makes it hard to keep the drool inside one mouth."

He smiled hearing what Shiro said about the smell of dinner. "Thank you for sharing it with me" He finnally finished the meal, fresh mushrooms, fresh onions and fresh meat Shiro would love this. "Dinner is finally done" he said taking out two plates and dishing out equal amounts. "Ok you have the first bite and tell me what you think" he said a bit excited to hear what Shiro had to say.

"Shouldn't you have more since you're bigger?", asked the elf but then nodded and took the first bite.
The taste surprised him. But in the good way. Very good. Everything teased his taste buds better than anything he ate so far in this dimension. The green eyes rested on Alexen, sparkling with excitement.
"It's excellent. Your cooking skill are really something to admire", he said, smile playing on his lips.

He couldn't hold in the grin he had because of the compliment he just received "Thank you I'm happy to know you like it." he took a bite he hadnt tasted so good in the human world either, he was very proud of it.

"You look like a real bad as demon when you smile like that", he chuckled, enjoying the other's company and the perfect meal with wine.

Shiro was right. if someone 70 years again had said he'd be cooking dinner and laughing with someone the way does with Shiro he would have killed them. He blushed at Shiro's comment "Well you seem to have a way of bringing the best out of me." he said taking a bite of his dinner.

[zajawa]

Shiro tilted his head and smiled.
"That's nice to hear. But.. why? Were you that bad? I do not mean the past when you were a fighter. Later on. When you were already here. You probably weren't that bad, right? Because if you were you would have now many people hunting you down. Even with your strenght and all you need to sleep and rest like anybody else. Don't feel obliged to answer. Just because we... you know..", he paused, blushing a bit but also quite curious at the same time.

He placed his fork down "Before I met you the only time I left the house was to buy food, iv been turned away at stores but some will sell to me but charge double. The jobs I did for money were more like mercenary jobs to beating the crap out of people then collect money from
those who owed money to gangs or large crime groups". He had a frown on his face "Most people stayed away but there were people who thought they could beat me and make a name for themselves or whatever. I would take them down but not kill them, if i did then as you said they would be hunting me and trying to kill me. he took a sip of his wine and stayed quiet wondering what Shiro would think about what he just told him.

Shiro was open minded enough to not to think in the structures of the society he was rised into. That was one of the reasons he was chosen for scholar in this place. It wasn't like the young elf didn't take his time to think it through but he soon nodded his head and smiled.
"I'm happy that you were able to change your ways. it's not something one can easily do. Do you think... welll... how should we act because of what we did? I'm not sure how to take it", he said softly, smiling shyly.
