HAHAHAHAHA!
Nice one!
Wikipedia is, and always will be, shit.
It will be shit as long as it is edited by, for, argued over by opinionated geeks and controlled by obsessive nerds.
There's a reason its a disciplinary offense to use wikipedia for coursework AT the universities, research institutions and think-tanks that are so frequently cited by wikipedia.
Its because its put together on the basis of "What can't be disproven" which is why its full of page after page after page of gossip, bullshit, uncited, unprovable crap.
I won't argue that pages like "Yaoi" are probably fine, because this is dead-on anime geek territory and the truth is going to be whatever they decide, pop-culture is of course just that, whatever someone decides at the time. But for anything factual you're essentially just going up to strangers in a pub and asking them. For all the sources they claim to be linked to, none of it is verifyably in the text, you have to take it on trust that the source is legit since citations are never checked, often can't be checked or link back to people who got their info from wikipedia in the first place.
Of the hundreds of sources on most pages, many of them are often to newspapers and statements made on media. Do you know where most newspapers do their research... on wikipeda.
Its just circular logic and almost like trolls trolling trolls.
Whether statistically wikipedia might be right on certain articles, points or even for whole paragraphs at a time I still wouldn't trust it at all and no sensible person should.
