Usagi stood there as the other finished his meal, the smaller male wondering if it really did taste as good as Yuri's actions made it seem. He hadn't really taken that long before finishing the stew. He should have asked for a taste while he could..Oh well he didn't need it, the salad had done its job and filled him up for the most part.

When the other agreed to his little agreement of the meal plan, Usagi nodded pleased, his gaze leaving the other as he glanced back over at the clock, he didn't have all that much time to talk or take things slow, but then again being to class on time rather then early might help a bit...

"whack off? To what?" he asked with a look that seemed disapproving to the comment, even though Usagi himself had done the same thing before heading here to eat. It wasn't like he really had much room to talk...Then again it was most likely a joke...oh well, he'd figure out later or not. Heading down the hall he began to lead the way to his class. "Its the study of Realization." he said as he held his water in one hand. "which is why I don't have any books or anything...what you need for the class is just you're head."

Yuri snickered lightly at his roommate's obliviousness, and sighed like it didn't matter. Oh Usi-Usi ... you wouldn't want to know ..

He frowned slightly, when the other revealed his class; he'd never heard of it. "Are you sure they're not ripping you off? That sounds a bit ... light." he remarked, narrowing his gaze as he looked directly forward in the direction they were going. He didn't go down this path often; maybe a few times, at best, for a few required courses in his earlier college years, but otherwise.

"No offense, it's probably a good class seeing as you're taking it ... but what exactly do you 'do' besides thinking? Doesn't that make it easy for students to slack off?" he murmured, biting his lip in thought.

Usagi looked over at him confused for a moment, not sure what it as the other was laughing about. did he say something wrong?

when the other asked about the class he gave a small laugh. "I know they are...but its not the only class I'm taking, its just the one thats giving me my free ride here, so why argue with it? The class in itself is fun enough." he said with a shrug.

"And as for what we do, simple, we think up theory's of everyday life, make things that are myths into realistic ideas to some how grasp what it was that people thought when the myth or folk lore was created..." he explained.

"Ahh ..."

It .... sounded weird. Like one of those 'experimental' classes which were offered as 'hipster' courses for the sake of using students as learning human guinea pigs. He remembered taking one his freshman year; it was worse than even his tech class, ughh ...

"Do they bother taking attendance in that class? Because if they don't, you could always ... I don't know, be doing something better?" Yuri wasn't one to skip classes, but there were occasions when, after considerable deliberation, he would weigh the needs of his classes and avoid wasting his time with them if they involved review lectures [he reasoned, if he paid attention all semester, there was no need for him to 'review' for exams, he should already know the material], lectures which were already outlined as digital presentations available to students [not all his classes, but a few of them had professors which merely read off facts directly and added nothing extra to their notes, so Yuri figured what the hell and spent time studying by himself] and textbook classes which offered recitation hours [he merely studied from the book and attended the recitations so he could ask questions if anything confused him]. It was difficult, managing his schedules, but it was efficient, and that pleased him.

Usagi let out a sigh like hum as he walked. He didn't really understand the real meaning of the class now that he thought about it. He just never thought to question it when he was taking it for free, as well as being given the chance to take other classes.

When Yuri asked him if he would like to skip, his head tilting to the side as he thought about the first day, the teacher not taking roll and then every other day how people would not show up but still have a passing grade. no homework was given, and the teacher mostly just left the students to argue...Usagi often sat alone, no one really wanting to deal with an honor student that was suppose to be a brainy person.. "I guess I could....The teacher doesn't take roll, i don't think...and Its not like I'm really needed there, I mostly just sit and watch the other classmates argue, and solve a problem when they can't seem to figure it out...Its kind of fun to listen to them argue...but it is getting boring." he sighed. "what do you think I should do instead?"

"Hm. You could live a little." he offered, though there was no teasing lilt in his tone as was custom. Really, Usagi looked like he could use a break sometimes.

"There's more to life than brain-smarts; there's also people-smart - You can't learn everything about the world in the classroom, you've got to actually go out there once in a while and actually experience it for yourself, you know." he clarified. "What do you like doing in your free time. Even if you don't do anything in particular - is there anything you've always wanted but never had the chance to try?" he asked, stopping for a moment to pull out his phone. So he could check his email.

Usagi just stared at hte other for a moment. "live a little? Like what going to party's or something like that?" he asked confused. He really didn't understand why what he was doing already wasn't considered living.

When Yuri when on about people-smarts, he just found himself staring at him with a look of confusion. It wasn't that Usagi didn't know what he was talking about, he just didn't understand how he was to get this 'people-smart' simple be skipping class and having no idea what to do with the free time. Thinking about this, as well as the other question that was asked, Usagi tilted his head to the side. "there is something I've wanted to do...but It doesn't involve going out or anything." he said as he stopped walking. "I wouldn't mind trying it instead of class..but you have to come too"

"..." Nothing; maybe his lab partner had calmed down. That was a relief. Yuri's ears pricked when Usagi spoke up, and mentioned something or other about something he wanted to try out. But didn't elaborate on it.

"Oh?" he hummed, putting his phone away as he let his attention turn to Usagi once more. He gazed at the other for a moment, trying to read him, but soon gave up, simply nodding. ".. Alright, I'll bite." he agreed, glancing around excitedly, in case the answer was somewhere in plain sight.

Usagi bit onto his lower lip as he looked at the other, having stopped walking and all as he just waited for a reply. To be honest, what he wanted to do involved Yuri, so he wasn't sure if he could fully go through with it...the actions might cause some unneeded awkwardness between the two.

When Yuri put his phone away and agreed to giving it a shot, Usagi couldn't help but give a light smile. "Good...first off, we need to go back to the dorm" he said as he turned on his heels heading the other way, so what if he didn't show for class? The worst that could happen is a talking to, and all he had to do was say he wasn't feeling that well...He'd been given a few sick days that he's yet to use after all.

"Right-o." He followed along obediently, but after a few seconds, whined childishly.

"Want to give me a hint as to what it is you're planning to do?" he teased, trotting excitedly. He had the urge to challenge the other to a race just so they could get there faster and so he could satisfy his curiosity, but kept from straying too far ahead, in case it discouraged Usagi and made him back down and head back to class.
