Dream Seer (Mana-Kun and I)

Lourette had always been a bit different than other people. The main difference was that he could travel from dream to dream and not just his own dreams. He could enter into the dreams of other people, as well as invite them into his own dreams. He was currantly resting in one of his dreams. It was nothing more than an empty room.

It was dull and boring but Lourette didn't mind. His loneliness and longing were slowly consuming him as he waited. Waited for what? Not even he new the answer to that. He stared out at nothing, his back against the wall in his dreamscape.

He would be getting a visitor today. Lourette had seen it within his dreams but he didn't know who the visitor was or what would bring him into this dream. However, perhaps it would be nice to have some company for once? Lourette was used to being alone since he was shunned for his strange abilities and he had been able to bear it, or so he thought.

His hidden emotions of sadness and loneliness and his longing for something were eating away at him, driving him further and further into depression. That depression showed strongly within his beautiful eyes.

Lance was unlucky struck by a speeding car. One that for some reason decided to speed up when he was at a cross walk, when the law was that you are to stop for pedestrians. It didn't happen in this case, and hence it put him in a coma.

Now he remained in it for some time, however, he was ok. He just suffered some kind of sever brain rattling that caused it malfunction for a while. So now he lays in a white bed covered in plant and medical equipment tied to him.

Lance grumbled as he awoke in his dream. A small area was seen, pretty grass, large tress and flowers. It was indeed a dream, as he lived in the city, and knew damn well he was hit by a speeding car. He looked around rather lost before noticing a rather nice attractive male.

He blushed lightly and tilted his head. He slowly walked towards the being before he smiled. The male looked depressed, and Lance couldnt really figure out why. "Are you are man?"

The Dream-Seer looked up when he heard someone speak to him. It was the male he had foreseen. He gave Lance a smile but even that seemed sad. Then he nodded to the question he asked about Lourette being a man. He was used to that question. He was very feminine but his voice was still that of a male.

"I am," he stated, still looking up from his sitting place.

Lance's appearance in this dream was no surprise to the Dream Seer but he looked much better than in his visions. He then looked back down and away from Lance. Lourette just radiated his sadness. He had thought that the presence of another person would help lift some of those feelings but why hadn't it?

Lance blushed lightly, obviously mistaking him for a girl a little bit. So it made him feel bad now. But yet again, he could still tell he was a guy. He blinked as the male let off a cloud of gloom. It was sad really to see someone else is such pain it hurt him on the inside.

Lance had yet to figure why the male was so gloomy. He whined a little bit before noticing the smile on the males face. it wasnt a real one, it was one those really "im gonna smile to hide my sadness" type ones. He tilted his head before letting his arms slug over the male hugging him.

Lance was comfortable with hugging another male, it was nothing really. But maybe because he was still trying to figure himself out. But also he was the kid at school who made everyone smile and got hurt when he saw someone down in the dumps so he would often do anything to make then crack a real smile.

"Are you ok? I mean.......you look depressed." he looked at him as his pants now stained with grass stains.

Lourette's eyes widened slightly as he stared in surprise when the other male gave him a hug. It was the first contact that he had had in a very long time. However, did such contact really count inside a dream? It actually brought tears to his eyes. He could almost feel the other's warmth, as if they were both really there.

"I am begining to feel better now. This is the first time someone has been able to talk to me within a dream. Perhaps, I'm just lonely? No one visits me, or talks to me, or even seems to notice me. I'm different from normal people. I can see future events in my dream, just as I had forseen your arrival here," he told Lance.

He smiled again. It was still a sad smile but at least he was trying to give it some effort.

Lance blinked at the male gently pulling away before sitting down. His eyes wondered around looking at the world around him, studying it. It face went clueless as he looked at the male. It didn't understand why he was so upset about that. Although he could understand about being lonely.

"So? Wouldnt that me a good thing most of the time." he cocked his head to the side and was trying to understand what was so bad about it.

"You can change futures and stuff. And you dont smile when your not happy >3 You dont smile for other people, you smile for yourself." he poked the males nose gently.

Lourette shook his head.

"You're wrong about that. I can see the future but I nothing I can do will change what I have seen. All I can do is wait for things to unfold. There is only one future and each person goes through that future according to how it was written out for them," he told Lance.

"I have seen wars and deaths before they happen but I have been powerless to stop them," he added, looking at Lance.

[Mana-Kun]

Lance tilted his head. This was in the case that he couldn't prevent, or try to prevent these things from happening.

"Well have you tried preventing them from happening. They say there is endless possibilities for the future depending on how we act and do things." Lance grinned,

" But no matter what it is, it ends with the death card." Lance refereed to the tarot cards, death meaning the end of something and the begging of something new.

[Masquerade]

The Dream Seer nodded.

"I once tried to prevent the death of someone dear to me but I was unable to change the future for that person. Everything is already predetermined. Nothing can change that and I have given up on trying to change something that's so unchangeable," he stated.

This chat was actually begining to get him into a bit of a better mood, surprisingly. Some of the sadness was leaving his gaze.

Lance blink, flicking the males nose.

"You cant change a persons future, only the person can. You cant stop people from choosing what they want it human nature." he stated bluntly with a hint of cheerfulness.
