Drunken Lament (private for monsterrr and myself)

"Hear hear." He smiled and raised his glass to Kotetsu's statement before downing the drink in one go and ordering yet another. "Keep 'em coming." He told the bartender and turned back to address Kotetsu. "No, this won't ruin my reputation, but Agnes sure chewed me out like it would." He took another sip. "I bet it was worse for you huh? You were late too weren't you?"He asked, his mind starting to feel a little fuzzy, he was a lightweight when it came to alcohol.


(now I'm guessing that, since we haven't actually seen Keith drink. I feel like he would be though.)

(I'm going to assume that Kotetsu isn't a light drinker since I have yet to see that episode, So he'll have to lug Keith home <D)

"It kinda was, But reputation doesn't really matter that much compared to your... Your..." He peered at the new glass in front of him and reached out to down a good half of it before the word came to him. "-actions. What you do, more then what you say." The tiger nodded to himself.

He glanced over to Keith then, who looked like he was having a little trouble keeping everything upright. He couldn't have been drunk after three glasses.... could he?
"Hey, You awake kiddo?" Kotetsu nudged him lightly with his palm.

The chatter of the club sounded distant and muffled in Keith's ears. Kotetsu was saying something to him, but he didn't hear his words of wisdom. He sat slumped in his chair slowing nodding off before starting and raising his head again only to repeat the process. "Huh?" he said after Kotetsu's words finally reached him. "Yeah, I'm alrigh', just a little thirsty." He reached for the glass and accidentally knocked it over. Keith watched in a daze as the liquid oozed and fell over the side of the bar, the bartender looked at it with disapproval. " I think you have had too much to drink Sir." He said, grabbing a towel and cleaning up the mess.

He almost laughed, But stopped himself and huffed instead. It was a little sad and a little redeeming to see the bold man reduced to a drunken mess on the bar counter. Kotetsu couldn't help feeling bad for him, Too bad he was a lightweight.

Why was he so cute when he was drunk, too? The black haired man resisted the urge to wipe a bit of drool from the corner of Keith's mouth when the blonde began to nod off on the bar again. The bartender gave them a look that screamed 'Get out.'

"Aha, Thanks." Kotetsu held up a hand. "I'll get him a cab, Sorry about that." In the process of attempting to get the slightly larger man up off his seat, Not only did he knock down his own unfinished drink but shattered the glass to boot.

"Bye!" He pulled Keith off the stool and out the door before seating the man on the sidewalk and waving his arms for a cab. "What am I doing with you..." He stared at the drunken hero, frowning. "If I take you back to your house and leave you, You won't do anything crazy, right?"

"Take me back to my place, but why would you do that? Didn't you hear Agnes? We have to get to Stern Bridge on the double!" He tried to stand up and ended up falling right back on his behind. Shaking his head he attempted to stand again while passerby looked at him amused, if only they knew who the drunk stumbling man was. Finally managing to get to his feet he made the same motion he would make to turn his jet pack on then looked around confused when he saw Kotetsu. "What are you doing up here Kotetsu? Did your company create a jetpack for you too?" He turned his head and pointed, "Oh nevermind we'll sort the details out later, theres the bridge." He made to walk forward into the busy street.



(A suicidal drunk Keith? Lol.)

Staring at the other, he nearly twitched when the man acted like he was putting a jet pack. "Keith, What are you- Holy crap!" The blonde made a move to run in the street, Kotetsu sped after him and nearly tackled him back onto the sidewalk. "Are you insane? ...No, You're drunk." He hissed to himself, Trying to get Keith to stand again when a very reluctant cab driver pulled over.

"Look, Sky High, The bridge is over here!" He whispered the mans alias while pointing dramatically at the cab. "Look! See the bridge?" He gestured to the seats, trying to nudge the hero into them at the same time.

He couldn't leave this kid alone, Not like this at least. Hell, He'd probably see a bird and jump out the window thinking it was Lunatic.

Keith saw the bridge and "flew" over towards it. Of course he actually entered the cab while Kotetsu promptly followed and closed the door before Keith could get out. He glanced around the cab and asked "Wheres the fire?" while the cab driver warily glanced at Keith through his mirror. Keith yawned a bit, suddenly feeling sleepy, forgetting the bridge and the fire he slumped sideways and laid his head on Kotetsu's shoulder. "You feel so nice Kotetsu" he said turning his head into a more comfortable position.

Feeling like he deserved a pat on the back and not a head on his shoulder, He paid the cab driver and made a guess as to where Keith lived. He thought he heard Blue Rose mention it once in conversation (How he remembered was a whole different story)- Hopefully he was right.

When he heard the drunken man tell him his shoulder felt ...nice, He tapped the man on the arm hesitantly. "You are veryyyyy drunk, kiddo." The driver gave them a look in the mirror and Kotetsu glared at him in return. "Yep, Really drunk."

The cab ride was short, but they were in front of a relatively large house, Definitely some place Keith looked like he would live in. Kotetsu scooted out and held out his arms for the other man, wondering if he was awake enough to realize they were here.

The cab driver made a noise in the back of his throat and Keith blinked and looked up, realizing that he was laying on his side on the rather uncomfortable cab seat and not leaning on Kotetsu's shoulder. He saw that the man had gotten out and was now extending his arms to Keith to help him out of the car. With this looking like a grand invitation to the intoxicated man he clamored out of the cab and practically threw himself at Kotetsu. "Have I ever told you how great you are?" He asked before busting into laughter at some unsaid joke. He was not even close to being sober.

He grunted when landed on, Watching the gleaming yellow cab speed off into the distance of the dark street like some kind of final hope, dissipated.

"Yeah you do, Only every day." He said dryly before nearly dragging Keith toward the door of his home. "Now take out your keys, We're going to get you inside and get you to sleep."
