Benjamin slowed to stop hearing that question come out of Teru after he had stopped to wait for his limo to pull up and he looked down at the white-haired male. He honestly had to think about it. He couldn't say it was Teru's looks, as adorable as he appeared to be despite how filthy he was. He couldn't say it was...anything, really, other than the fact that Teru was different. He still had some human left in him while the others in their cages were nothing but dolls who could breathe, blink, breathe, and talk. He reached down once more and combed his fingers through Teru's messy white hair gently.

"You're much different...while the others would be rubbing against my leg by now, you're sitting independently." Benjamin replied. He then reached to the collar and loosened it enough to where it wasn't bothering the white-haired male. "I don't want a doll..."

Teru was grateful that the collar was loosened, but he didn't get his hopes up for his master to be nice to him. He wasn't going to be any happier about his situation unless Benjamin proved to not want to hurt him. Sure, Benjamin was a high class citizen, but that didn't mean he was against harming his pet. He already missed the man's hand in his hair, it was rather soothing to him, like when you pet a cat for a long time. He rubbed at his neck, where the collar was no longer rubbing and smiled just a bit.

"I don't want to be like them... They're all soulless and just want one thing from their masters.. My previous wanted me like that... But.. I can't be like that..."

He watched on as the limo pulled up and just waited patiently for Benjamin to allow him inside the car. His previous master would have made him walk or would have had him sitting on the floor of the car.

Benjamin slowly stood as the limo pulled up and the driver walked around to open the door. Benjamin actually helped Teru into the vehicle and had him sitting on the leather seat instead of on the car floor before he himself got in and the driver closed the door. He looked over at Teru as the driver made his way back to the driver's seat.

"You don't know how many times I've had people throw themselves at me. Women, men, even ones that were born with both parts. They all wanted one thing and didn't bother with conversation beforehand. They didn't respect my intelligence or my dignity, so I didn't respect theirs either." Benjamin said rather bitterly, though he didn't mean to make it seem like he was saying that directly at Teru. His parents even tried arranging him to marry countless women and they all turned out to be as bland as a white wall with maybe some decoration to hide the fact that it was just a white wall, not even a shade of color blended in to give it more culture or sophistication.

After a moment, he cleared his throat and turned his head forward as he pushed his glasses up from the edge of his nose. "Anyhow...it doesn't matter now. They're all gone, and every women I've turned down or insulted had gossiped about me to just about every social media they can and to every woman they know that I'm a giant asshole who refuses to put out for a pair of blue eyes and flotation devices." he muttered.

Teru sat on the leather seat, his hand gently running along the nice fabric and along the sewing lines. He smiled at the feeling before he stopped and just placed his hands on his knees. Benjamin was treating him nicely so far. He looked at the man when he started to talk. People should be throwing themselves at his Master. He was rather handsome by looks and women typically go for a guy like this. He looked back down at his hands as Benjamin continued to talk. He seemed to lonely. However, Teru couldn't hold in the small chuckle that escaped his lips.

"I don't know how many people have thrown themselves at you.. I was with my old master since I was 18 so I never had people throwing themselves at me.. But.. I guess... They will have to deal with you rejecting them.. They were not right for you.. Maybe they only want you for the title you carry or the money that you make.."

Teru clasped his hands together. His eyes widened and he immediately scoot himself away from Benjamin, almost out of his arm's reach. His body trembling and hands going up to his face to shield it from any blows.

"I-I'm sorry sir! I didn't ask for permission to speak.. I-I meant n-no offense!"

Benjamin felt much better that he could vent to Teru without being judged for his behavior and actions. He merely watched as Teru all of a sudden scooted away from him in fear that he would hit him. He answered Teru's pleas to not be hit by grabbing Teru's ankle gently and pulling him closer and closer until finally wrapping his arms around the white haired male who was now up against him and he ran his fingers through those albino locks. He usually wasn't much of a hugger, or even someone who liked to be touched...but Teru felt oddly warm and he couldn't help but give Teru as much comfort as he could knowing that Teru never received such charity.

"You don't have to ask permission to speak...I'm glad you're not so judgmental of me...that you understand." Benjamin replied sincerely.

Teru almost struggled against Benjamin when he grabbed his ankle, but he feared he would be punished even worse. His eyes shut tightly but no strikes ever came, only a warm embrace and strong arms. His eyes opened and stared at the fabric of his Master's shirt. He breathed out in a sigh of relief. He was weary but he did relax against the other male. He let his comb his hair and it strangely was still relaxing even though Teru was still terrified of being harmed. He nuzzled himsf against Benjamin, u sure if the man would think him like the other soulless dolls if he did this.

"I can a-appreciate solitude... And I also know what it feels like to n-not be acknowledged for intellect or wit... M-my old master never liked a smart pet... Too many q-questions.."

Benjamin closed his eyes feeling the nuzzle and he gently ran his fingers along Teru's cheek. Teru understood...that meant more to Benjamin than Teru could possibly know. He was going to say more, but he soon felt the limo slow itself to a stop and the back door was opened. However, he kept Teru against him a bit longer before gently helping Teru over him so he could get out first before he followed, not wanting to get them tangled with the leash or having to pull Teru out.

Teru let himself be maneuvered by Teru. He placed his feet on the ground and rose from the car, hands clasped behind his back. Benjamin was being such a nice Master that Teru couldn't help but feel safe and rather happy. This man wasn't striking him every chance he got. He looked back at Benjamin.

"y-you liver here, sir? I-It's rather beautiful.."

He gave Benjamin a genuine smile.

Benjamin looked up at the manor for a few moments after Teru complimented it and he looked back over at Teru. He wanted to smile, jut a tad, but for some reason he couldn't and instead he just kept giving his usual stare with his piercing eyes. "Thank you. My father spent so long trying to make it just perfect for a family." he said softly before walking with Teru toward the front door that opened slowly upon his approach by one of his many butlers.

"Good evening, sir. Your dinner has been prepared." the butler greeted as Benjamin walked through the door.

"Thank you...tell Wilfred to prepare one of the guest rooms for our guest." Benjamin replied as he started unbuttoning his vest.

"Yes, sir." the butler replied with a bow after closing the door before he walked off to do as he was asked.

"I didn't think you would be comfortable sleeping in the same room as me...since we just met, so you can sleep in a guest room." Benjamin said to Teru softly as he removed his vest, tossing it gently to a maid before he unbuttoned his shirt a little.

Teru's smile dropped when Benjamin just continued to stare at him. He didn't know what he said if he had offended the man or if he was stating something redundant. He already knew Benjamin hated not being seen for his intelligence. He bit his lip and looked down at the floor as he followed the man inside. He nervously picked at his shirt and stayed away from the man. His old Master would have smacked him already, but Benjamin was being quiet and not really saying anything. He began to tremble, believing the man was going to strike him at any moment.

"I-I will s-sleep wherever Master wants me to sleep... I-I can s-sleep on the floor next to him b-bed if he wishes..."

Teru kept his head down, hands picking at his shirt and eyes full of fear. He flinched when the vest went across his vision, thinking it had been Benjamin.
