With time I discovered that the easiest way to swallow a hard pill is with a big dose of humor (and water, maybe).
So lately I'm kinda stuck on Terry Pratchett, especially his book "The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents".
For me, it shows the development of human kind in a very humorous way: a group of rodents gain the ability to speak and create their own culture, religion, their own fears and dreams.
It combines the incredibly powerful perfectionism of young people, it being so powerful, that it actually has the potential to change the world and the heartbreaking realization of how things really are, inevitably chasing down almost everyone with age.
The book has really too much things in it for me to be able to describe all, but just take it from me, it's my favorite book and definitely worth a read.

I read a lot of manga. Tsubasa seems to be my favorite at the moment. I recently started Journey To The West again. The copy I have was translated by Arthur Waley. I'm still unsure about an unabridged translation. My favorite fiction is Star Trek, especially the My Enemy My Ally series. My favorite nonfiction author is Elaine Pagels.

Eldest, since it's what kept me interested in the Eragon series.
Pendragon was pretty good too, can't decide which book I liked the most out of the series.

I like reading romance mainly but I kind of like every type of book , let it be horror, detectives, etc . Some of my favorite would be " Jane Eyre, Proud and Prejudice, Anna Karenina, East of Eden" and a lot more that I can't be bothered to see if they are english or not.

Josh Lanyon's Adrien English Mysteries, I Spy collection, Holmes and Moriarity set... Really anything by Josh.
Also I enjoy James Lear The Mitch Mitchell series, Vampire Vow and Thrall, and this one is a graphic novel but I love Artifice by Alex Woolfson
Other books I enjoy are the Sherlock Holmes ones, Richard Castle, James Patterson, Cassandra Clare and really anything in Thriller / horror / crime.
