Envy snickered a little, if Ed was willing to play along he would go with it. What was the harm?

He slid his small arms around the alchemist's neck and rested his chin over Ed's right shoulder, ignoring anyone else they passed by.

"I'm going to grow up to be bigger than you, I drink milk, you don't. That's why you're still a shrimp." Envy grinned, still picking on Ed even when he was the smaller of the two, and it was perfectly timed too since a group of officers happened to be passing them by, all of which started to laugh in amusement. Envy couldn't hide his own snicker.

Eds face grew red and he pressed his lips together and turned his head to glare at the little envy child piggy backing him.

"I would watch your mouth little boy...that was a very naughty thing to say" he grumbled low enough for only Envy to hear.
"I dont care if everyone is watching, sass me again and I will put you over my knee and spank you in front of everyone....GOT IT?" he threatend.

Wide violet eyes sparked with a mixture of mischievous delight and challenge as Envy regarded Ed's threatening glare. His lips curled up into a small smirk but for the time being he figured it was better to let Ed think he was in control.

In all honesty he WAS actually rather hungry and the approaching mess hall doors provided ample distraction from tormenting his favorite chibi. Envy gripped his little fingers into Ed's shoulders and shoved off the alchemist, stepping onto Ed's golden head and using him like a spring board to launch his small body through the air and consequently through the doors.

With an expression of complete and unadulterated joy he bounded into the mess hall chirping triumphantly, "FOOD!" It would have made Gluttony proud to see how excited he was, but it HAD been sometime since his last meal.

Leaving Ed to catch up he skittered over to the counter, ignoring the bewildered and curious stares as he pointed to the server and gave them a scowl most unfitting for the child he currently looked like.

"Whatever they're having I'll have the same and make it snappy! I'm STARVING here!"

Ed finnaly caught up with Lil Envy and like a parent firmly jerked him by the ear down beside him. regaining somewhat control of him...he looked up apologisingly at the mess hall serving staff.

"S-sorry about that," Ed then glared down at Envy and jerked him closer to him so his lecture would be good and clear.

"for Gods sake do you have to make a scene...use your damned manners!!!"

Ed looked up again at the bewildered server and grinned.
"Two specials please"

The server regained his senses and handed them both a tray of food.
"So who is this little guy Ed...I diddnt think you took much for children?"

Ed blushed grimacing...as his mind turned to come up with an answere.
"Uhh...He's uh.....Winrys c-cousin.....I -er..promised to watch him for a bit while she ...um...is...out"

Envy snorted off Edward's scolding and became completely engrossed in his tray and the contents there on. He didn't even bother to listen to the boy stammering about who he supposedly was or why he was there, instead walking off away from Edward to claim a seat for himself.

It didn't matter to him that he had snatched a table with several higher ranking officers at it, he ignored their curious stares and the way their conversations had all died out upon his arrival. Instead he slid his tray across the table a bit, climbed up onto the seat and paused, finding he could barely see over the table edge in this tiny body. So he did the next best thing and sat ON the table, next to his tray, and began to shovel food into his mouth with some dignity, though the pace he was eating at was reminiscent of a starved wolf.

Ed looked down to where Envy was beside him and found that he wasnt there. Ed now panicked looking around the mess hall and saw him shoveling down food at the officers table, Ed almost had heart failure and leaving his tray dashed over to where Envy was and yanked him off the table with great force.

"What are you doing IDIOT!" Ed said shaking Envy by the shoulders then dragging him over to a more secluded table in the corner.
"Where wrong with YOU!..were you raised in an ishbalin barn???"

Ed took Envys tray away from him and held it up,
"now sit down and eat like a civilized person...I KNOW you can...your just being a bratt about it!"

Envy was only slightly rattled at being shaken and yanked and dragged about. He blinked a few times to settle himself and then glared up at Edward, crossing his tiny arms over his chest.

In a lowered voice only Ed could hear he hissed out, "For your information I was raised before Central even existed. Now give me my food!"

He scowled, climbing up to sit on the table again as the chairs were still too low for him to reach properly without shifting his form.

Ed pressed his lips together then seeing that Envy was too short to sit at the table he sighed.
"Here...." Ed then clapped his hands togther and transmuted a booster seat with buckles and effortlessly picked up Envy and plopped him in the booster seat..and buckled him in...only then did Ed put the tray of food before him.

"Now better?" Ed said then an evil smirked crossed his face and he quickly transmuted a oversised baby bib and tied it around Envys neck.

Envy didn't have time to really process in his brain WHAT Ed was doing before it was all ready done. He stared wide eyed and open mouthed as Ed not only strapped him into a baby seat of all things, but then stuck a bib on him?!

The sin grit his teeth and glared violently at Edward, his right eye twitching warningly. Though he spoke so only Ed would be able to hear, his voice was no longer that of a child's but his normal one, laced with fury and the promise of serious pain.

"You are going to regret this later Chibi-san. I promise you that."

Snarling slightly, Envy sat back and stabbed a large chunk of meat off his tray, snapping his jaws over half of it and wrenching his head to the side, tearing through the meat like a beast. But the scowl on his face was down right murderous so if anyone was bothering to gawk they weren't very tempted to make any comments.

Ed just grinned, what ever Envy did to him later was worth it, seeing the sin being humiliated was just too good for Eds ego, that in he felt it was payback for all the times Envy called him chibi.
He patted the boys head.

"Thats a good boy, now eat all your food or you wont get dessert!" Ed chided then turned to his own tray and ate, he diddnt know how hungry he was, it had been a long morning and he had already spend so much engery on fighting sin and talking to Mustang, he revived the days events in his mind and still found them hard to grasp.
