Madara goes up to sasuke to support him as he began coughing mildly from stress "Just calm down, you're not feeling well, breath slowly. " sasuke pushed madara's arm away and yelled for him to not touch him and leave him alone "no, you are going to listen it's your obligation!"
"As i said itachi was a spy he worked under Danzo and the Hokage. He held all the intel from both sides, but in the end he chose the leaf village over his own clan. At that time itachi had been leaking your father's plan to the higher ups and providing surveillance for them. He was ordered to assassinate your family, your clan, by this very village." Sasuke's eyes widened " The third hokage knew what would happen but still he wished for a compromise, but he was too late to execute his peaceful transaction, your brother had already made up his mind and decided to close the curtain on his clan. However he made one mistake, he left a survivor, his own flesh and blood, you sasuke uchiha." sasuke had tears running down his eyes now. and said over and over "it's not true, he tried to kill me! he was evil! my enemy!"

Sasuke grab his head as he shakes his head, as he then pushed madara's arm away, "don't touch me! and leave me alone!" he yelled at Madara. his eyes widened as he shook his head still hold his hand on his head, as his eyes filled with tears and soon the tears ran down on his cheeks, "it's not true, he wanted to kill me! , he was evil, he was my enemy!", he said again and again

"it was all so that he could make you stronger, he pushed you to the edge in order to make you pursue him, he wanted you to kill him so that he could achieve a final revenge against the uchiha clan. before he left the village he begged the third hokage to protect you and keep this dark secret away from you. he also threatened danzo before he left the village swearing that if any thing were to happen to you he would release all info he had of the leaf village to the other nations. years later he returned as news of orochimaru's attack reached his ears, he returned to remind danzo and the councilors koharu, and homura that he was still alive and watching." sasuke was silent "don't you get it? he wanted to protect you, his little brother, to him your life was more important than the village itself." sasuke began sobbing "he must've gone through a lot of emotional trauma, his heart must've ached painfully." sasuke told madara to stop talking as he continued sobbing and remembering itachi's last words to him.

Sasuke sobbed still, "he was always stronger then me he graduate earlier he has earlier his sharingan, he was so early one of the anbu's and i was never able to past him, he always told me that 'We are brothers. I am the wall you must climb over, so you and I will continue to exist together', and dad was only paying attention all the time to him never to me, until that day that itachi killed shisui uchiha and that he said that he had enough of this pathetic clan, dad was then paying only attention to me and not to itachi anymore. and he told me before he left the village after that night, 'You've always wanted to surpass me. That's why I'm going to let you live… if you wish to kill me, then hate me, despise me… and by all means flee, cling to your wretched life' and now you will say that he would protect me, but i always thought he wanted to kill me" he told madara as he continued sobbing and was thinking of itachi when they were younger. "they always said that i was innocence but it shattered after that night, my ideals and personality changed drastically, becoming cold, lonely, cruel, cynical, somewhat arrogant, and with the next nine years of my life devoted to killing Itachi. that's what i feels after that night"

"so what will you do about this? the village destroyed your clan and your brother, can you just stand by and let this corruption continue?" asked madara, though sasuke did not answer him "very well, i'll let you think about it, if you want revenge follow my footsteps." madara disappears after saying those words. sasuke lay sad and alone the rest of the night.

Sasuke didn't answer on madara's question as he didn't know what to do about it. as he laid sad and alone on the bed, the rest of the night looking up at the ceiling as he didn't sleep, thinking about itachi and what madara told him.

the next day sasuke was checked out of the hospital and as he was walking out side the doors kakashi was waiting for him. "so, are you feeling better now?" he asked, sasuke quickly turned around to face him.
