When Cresil asked what's wrong he didn't answer. Or wanted to because after few moments he sighed.
"Nothing", he said softly, rubbing his temples.
That wasn't fair to Cresil, the way he acted. After all he really said he wouldn't dance with anyone else so it was only fair to say he wouldn't leave him.
"I will leave only if you will piss me off", said Aoki at last.
Well.. it wasn't exactly what Cresil wanted to hear but it was the only promise he was willing to give him. After all something could happen, right?

Cresil wasn’t used to dealing with serious, conversational matters. In fact he had no clue why Aoki was upset, although it wasn’t very shocking that he was clueless about it since he was never good in social situations.
Aoki’s reply barely helped, in fact Cresil wasn’t sure how he’d be able to piss him off tomorrow since he never intended on it, or mean to at least.
Sitting up in bed, the demon stood up abruptly and pulled his boxers on while saying a simple. “Fine.”
Looking at Aoki a bit more, Cresil shook his head and went to his closet, shuffling in annoyance through a few things. He felt like they were arguing now, or at least something like that, and Cresil didn’t like it at all.
Finding what he was looking for, Cresil put his jacket on, leaving it open and putting on pants as well. “I’m heading out for a minute.”, he then mumbled.

When he felt Cresil standing up he was a bit surprised. He heard all the noises and he could tell the other man was annoyed. Then he heard the other man was heading out for a bit. For what? To kill somebody? Or for a quicky? Aoki pursed his lips and didn't say anything back. What could he tell Cresil. Don't leave? Yes.. right.. Like he would ever listen even if he would tell him that. And the fact that he was feeling now somehow sad didn't help the situation even one bit.

Cresil didn’t hear an answer, making him sigh and walk out of the room, heading out the front door. He should have told him where he was going, for all he knew Aoki’s mind was going in different, negative directions.
Frowning faintly, Cresil kept walking, his eyes ahead, no where else, not even looking around at the stares from the demons around him.
As he got to his destination, Cresil quickly walked inside, going towards his boss’ office. What was his excuse? He never skipped out on his job, in fact he only ever skipped work once in his life and that was because he had to attend his fathers funeral.
Getting inside the room, he just hoped he thought of something fast that sounded realistic.

After only a few minutes, Cresil walked out and sighed in relief. He kind of told the truth, slightly lied as well. He just said that he had to look after someone who was incapable of doing much themselves and would only be there for another day. Cresil knew Aoki could do anything, or go anywhere he wanted, although he couldn’t just say ‘I’m skipping work for a guy’, it wouldn’t look very good on his part. Getting to his house, he had hoped Aoki didn’t leave, if he was able to, the thought slightly bothered him.

Aoki was laying angry in the bed. More time passed more pissed of he became. All of a sudden he sat up, ignoring the pain in his back, take a lamp standing on the nightstand and threw it at the wall with a low growl. But it didn't really help, making him feel even worse for destroying something that wasn't his. Aoki sighed and lay down. What was he doing? Why was he so angry? He was acting irrational and it wasn't the thing he was known for. With another growl he put the pillow on his head and sighed.
How frustrating... Me.. acting like that..

Cresil locked the door behind him just as he walked into the house, instantly looking at the stairs when he heard that crash. At first, he worried, but he stopped when he at least was relieved that Aoki was here still.
Deliberating if he should head upstairs or stay down here and give him time, Cresil knew the demon had no clue where he was, leaving him wondering would never make it better.

Walking up the steps, Cresil felt his aggitation slowly leave. He was beginning to feel bad for him now, even if he was still unsure of why he was upset. Getting to his room, he opened the door slowly and had to look around for a moment before seeing Aoki, and his now broken lamp.
Instead of making a joke, or getting upset, Cresil he closed the door and leaned against the wall, speaking instantly and lowly, trying to sound calm. “Just took the day off tomorrow…had to let my boss know.” he mumbled and looked at him for another moment before frowning again and randomly deciding to whisper a small. “Sorry, for making you upset.”

He flinched when he heard someone going upstairs. When Cresil spoke up he sounded so calm. And actually he said he's sorry. Aoki groaned, hearing that.
"It's me who should say sorry!", he yelled, his head still under the pillow. "I was embarrassed and then.. somehow it all just.. I'm acting irrational.. and it's pissing me off... I even broke your lamp! And you're still the one that apologized... It's frustrating!"
Aoki sighed and was just laying there in silence.
"I'm sorry for destroying your lamp", he mumbled after a while.

Staying against the wall for now and leaving Aoki with some space, Cresil rubbed his forehead, listening to him and saying a slight ‘ah’ when he heard why he was upset. As the pause settled, he leaned off of the wall as he heard him apologize finally for his lamp, in which he looked over at it.
Shrugging, Cresil simply started to walk over before speaking once again. “That lamp was kind of ugly anyway…” he eyed it once more before looking at Aoki. “I accept your apology.” Sitting down next to the demon, Cresil looked at him once again before looking at the ground where his feet rested.
“Feel any better? After breaking it?” Cresil asked, trying to hide his amusement since he never knew the demon had that in him. It was a pleasant surprise almost to know he got angry and didn’t let people piss him off. He had character.

After feeling Cresil sitting on the bed he was silent for few moments and then sighed.
"No.. not really. Well.. maybe a tiny bit", he confessed at last.
Finally Aoki pulled the pillow off and looked at Cresil. His hair were now really messy and faint blush covered his cheeks. He was surprised once again with other demon behaviour. It was.. so different from the way he would picture it in his head.
"You... aren't angry.. about the lamp?", he asked softly, his voice full of hesitancy.
Actually his mood swings were the reason he lost his last lover. And it wasn't the first time it happened. After that he just stopped to search for someone for longterm relationship and just sticked to one night stands. It was more convenient and they didn't get to see his ugly side, the one that was possesive and had those.. other moments..

Cresil kept his gaze on the ground, not really doing or thinking of anything in particular until Aoki spoke. He then looked up when he heard him ask him a question, taking a second before shaking his head and talking.
“Nah it’s just a lamp.” Cresil looked at Aoki’s hair, tempted to touch it from how messy it was. “Plus can’t really blame you, being pissed off I would have done a lot worse than just breaking a lamp.” Cresil said with a very faint smirk.
Looking into those golden eyes, Cresil waited a few seconds before looking away and taking a deep breath. “Let me know next time if you’re pissed off, maybe I’ll let you punch me.” Joking of course, he let a second pass before muttering “Kidding.” and laid back down, not feeling as tense or agitated anymore.
