if you were god and the time came for the world to end would you end it? or would you pick an alternative outcome? and if you chose the alternative out come what would that outcome be?

I would end it! lol! But that's just me. I know it sounds very strange. It's just that I see so many people who go out of their way to hurt others, and get rich, at the expense and suffering of others. I wonder how these individuals find the strength to live with themselves day after day, knowing what they do to others. Maybe they had surgery, and had their conscience removed, as if it were a tumor.

I know it wouldn't be fair for all the innocent people out there, but as long as there are dirt bags in the world, the world will never be a fair place. So, probably, the only way to get rid of all the evil, is to destroy absolutely everything. Because, without good, there can be no evil, and viceversa.

So, I guess it's something along the lines of "Fiat justitia, et pereat mundus". But if everything were to perish, then who, or what would stand to benefit from this justice?

The temptation is irresistible for starters, besides who wouldn’t want a front row seat to watch the mayhem and chaos. Theoretically of course this is if it was time for the world to end. If it had evolved and progressed as far as it could.

Honestly if given that choice and in that position? I would not end it of my own volition. In fact, I would not choose to end it personally at all. If I was God, I wouldn't feel that was my choice or decision to make. I would watch and observe what humans did with the free will given to them and see what choices they would make. I would watch them grow, change, and evolve. I would want to see them thrive, and reform. I would not help them, nor would I cause them harm. It would be up to them and them alone to determine their survival.

If I was God I would want to see if humans could use their limitless potential to reach past differences and coalesce to form something new, to find peace and happiness. To eliminate disease and other tragedies from their existences. And see if they could even overcome their greatest barrier of all, eliminating their own mortality. Sadly enough, such things will most likely not happen. They will succumb to violence and strife, hatred and chaos. I'd half expect them to kill each other off on wars in my name, or even worse, by accident. Oops, a nuclear missile launched accidentally and another nation felt it was an attack, causing Nuclear Armageddon.

Still, I would want to see what humans were capable of. I wouldn't end the world, but sit back and watch the show.

If it were me, instead of ending the world in which the mortal humans live in I would create a new being or form of Destruction that threatens all of humanity. With something of such power both sides of good and evil would be threatened by it and would need to join forces to eliminate it. This idea came to me from FFX (final fantasy 10) Yu Yevon created sin so that he could punish all of spira. And like sin my creation would be reborn many times over until humans learned to cooperate with each other for a greater cause. this however, could only be temporary fix. Some human beings seek more power more authority. perhaps by eliminating desire for those things. there might be no evil.

Humans will never come together as one. It's in our nature to fight and hurt each other, and gain power or control over one another. So, sadly, the only way to truly put an end to all evil, is to eradicate it along with all good things. Then there would be no more good, no more evil, no more suffering, pain, pleasure, avarice, there would just be darkness and silence, there would be balance, and the harmony of nothingness would once again come to rise.
