Incubus Dreams (with MsJacobL)

Noble’s eyes locked with Ken’s for a few seconds, hearing him ask that question and he knew it was a good idea. He didn’t want to make him stay here in pain when he could wake up and be fine. Nodding slowly, Noble got up off of the table and took a deep breath. “Of course.”
The incubus leaned down, taking just a few more seconds to admire Ken like this with him before closing his eyes, kissing Ken quickly and allowing the dream to end, bringing the human back into his room without the feeling of pain, as if nothing had ever happened.

Noble stuffed his hands into his pockets, walking down the street in his human form and looking in different directions. He felt energized, probably more so than in his entire existence, but he still felt a little….empty when he was so far from Ken.
Stepping into a store, Noble smirked at the cashier and looked around, wondering if he could get something for the human. To Noble it wasn’t a gift, more like a little something to remind Ken of him, just in case something were to happen or if Ken decided he wanted to stop their little ‘relationship’. Grabbing something off the shelf and paying for it, Noble walked out and decided to hang out around Ken’s place, creepy? Maybe, but Noble had no real hobbies other than what he was designed to do.

Ken woke up as he blinked slowly and true to Noble's word. He didn't feel anything, but the stickiness made him cringe. "Can't believe I just got fucked...in a dream..." he whispered as he got up and cleaned his clothing.

"Honey you awake?" Came a voice from his bedroom door.

"Yes mom."

"Okay, well it is almost eight and I wanted us to have breakfast."

"Okay, I will be down in a minute."

"I love you."

"Love you too, mom."

Ken finished up and got dressed in some sweats and a t-shirt as he met his mother for breakfast. He could tell something was wrong as her face looked a little worried.

"What's going on?" He asked as he poured a bowl of cereal and the milk.

"Oh...well...." She looked down at her own bowl as she followed suit and just stared at it without looking at Ken.

"You have to make a trip?"

"How did you-wait..."

"You don't like leaving me alone in a house for more than a day," he chuckled and gave her a smile.

"It was so sudden and I am thinking about telling them no..."

"Mom. You have such awesome friends and I think this will be good for you. So...where's the location?"

"It's a cruise...a 16 day cruise and it's an early birthday present from the girls...I don't know...I..."

"Mom. Go on it. You deserve it and I will be fine. I am 18 now," he smiled.

She looked a little shocked, but tears slowly rolled down her cheeks as she smiled at him.

"I love you mom and I wish you the best in the world! Now when do you leave and stuff?"

Ken and his mother talked happily for the next hour as she mentioned that it will be next week and she asked if a friend could stay with him. He assured her that he would be fine and if anything happened, he got Adam and the others on speed dial.

Leaning against a nearby brick wall, Noble tried to ignore any odd glances in his direction. He didn’t look like a creepy pedophile or anything…right? He kept lifting his gaze, wondering what humans would think of him, it wasn’t like many people spoke to him and Ken’s friends thought of him as a creep most likely after what happened. Sighing and rubbing his forehead, Noble looked at Ken’s house and tapped his foot along the ground. He almost wished he had cigarettes, even if he wasn’t a smoker he thought it would relieve some of the stress he felt. The only thing that confused Noble was why he felt stressed. It wasn’t like he had a reason to be, but for some strange reason…

Sighing yet again, the incubus held the bag he had in his hand tighter and glanced down at it. Would Ken even want it? What if he found it in the trash the morning after? Noble sighed and closed his eyes, tilting his head down and uncaring that people were oddly eyeing him. Was it so strange for a man to stand against a wall for hours? Noble scoffed and glared at anyone who dared look his way, uncaring what they thought.

His mother cleaned up the kitchen as she tried to get ready to go to a friends to tell them the news. Ken was very happy for his mother, the way he treated her she deserved some sort of happiness and he even felt envious of her friends. He hoped that some day his friends will still be that close to him.

"I will see you tonight," she said from the door as Ken waved to her on his way up the stairs.

Two hours of standing outside ominously, Noble noticed someone walking out of Ken’s house. As he only just shortly looked at her, he remembered she was his humans mother….the incubus wanted to just thank the woman for making such an amazing man, but he knew better then to put himself into Ken’s personal life like that.
Standing off of the wall, Noble looked around a bit and waited for Ken’s mother to leave before he hesitantly decided to walk towards the front door.

After a few seconds of deliberation, Noble knocked on Ken’s door, curious if he’d want to even see him after the dream. Would it be awkward? Or…maybe Ken would be scared of him now. Sighing lightly, the incubus pushed his hands even deeper into his pockets as he waited

"Hmm?" Said Ken as he heard a knock at the door. He thought his mother forgot her keys and went downstairs to the door.

"Mom you for-" Ken stood there wide eyed when he saw Noble and as a reaction slammed the door in the others face. After realization hit he opened it back and chuckled. "Uh....come on in..."

Noble waited, tapping his finger against the doorframe and sighing until Ken finally opened the door. Looking up, Noble parted his lips to speak but stopped when the door was suddenly slammed in his face. Glaring at the door, the incubus was about to kick it down but froze once it opened yet again, luckily he wouldn‘t have to draw much attention to breaking and entering. Hearing Ken chuckle eased Noble slightly, nodding his head and keeping his hands in his sweater pockets, looking around his house and then bringing his gaze back to Ken.
The demons light blue eyes trailed along the humans body, stopping at his ass at the memory of last night. “Where’s your mom going?” He asked right away while finally looking up to Ken’s eyes.

"Sorry...you startled me," he chuckled again nervously and rubbed his neck. Once Noble was inside he closes the door and leans against the wall. "She's going to a friends place. Why you asking? Also...aren't you well fed right now?"

Noble ran his fingers along his jaw and furrowed his eyebrows. “Is my face that bad?” he joked and then just looked at Ken standing there. For a second he was silent, taking another deep breath and shrugging his shoulders as he unzipped his sweater.
“I asked because I was curious why she was leaving…..and I am fed, very fed, but I came here because well…why not? I have no intention of anything sexual despite it being tempting.” Noble walked towards Ken’s kitchen, opening the fridge and looking inside.

“What the hell….” Noble picked up an egg and starred for a few seconds. “This doesn’t have anything living inside of it right? Do you eat this?” he said in astonishment while putting it back with slight disgust.

Ken didn't reply to Noble really until he went to the kitchen and asked about the egg. "Sometimes, but not the ones we get in the grocery store. They are pretty good personally," he said with a shrug and continued to look at Noble. "Anything else you wanted to talk about?"
