A coupled days passed since the two had conceived the child and Daemon's belly continued to expand each day, slowing down as each day passed. He was about the size of a melon by midweek and had since then began to feel nauseous in the mornings, just never really sick. His cravings were starting to become bizarre as well. He was moody though it mostly consisted of typical pregnant lady talk of "you don't love me now that I'm fat" and "i'm too fat for anything", things like that.

Daemon woke up Saturday or Sunday, he couldn't remember the days anymore, and promptly rushed into the bathroom as fast as he could. He barely made it to the toilet, slamming the door on his way before he threw up last nights dinner. This was the first time he had actually felt sick upon waking. He let out a pathetic mewl and promptly upchucked again.

Vladimir was exhausted. Mentally exhausted and physically from all of the emotional outbursts, the late night cradling as Daemon went on and on about whatever emotional turmoil his hormonal mind came up with, sometimes even complaining that the people in town were staring or pointing or both and sometimes whispering about them everytime they had to go shopping. Even with the emotional outbursts, the constant apologizing, and the odd and...sometimes alarming cravings, Vladimir was as dedicated to Daemon as he ever was and never complained...verbally.

He had spent the night before cradling his emotional lover while he sobbed and he was sleeping rather deeply until he was awoken by the sudden absence of his lover followed by the sound of Daemon's morning sickness. He forced his tired body out of bed and into the bathroom to hold Daemon's hair as he spilled the remains of last nights dinner into the toilet bowl, squinting through his half open eyes.

Daemon hadn't heard Vladimir come into the bathroom over his own retching. The only thing that alerted him to the man's presence was the fact that his hair was no longer sticking to his cheeks and forehead. He panted and clung to the bowl, dry heaving a couple times before he reached up and flushed the stuff down the drain. He sat on the floor and let out little coughs and a couple small sniffles. God he hated this. He was overemotional and always took it out on Vladimir and here he was helping him out the first day he gets sick. After last night, Daemon expected the man to leave the house at night but instead he had cradled Daemon. He sighed and gagged from his own breath.

"i'm good now... Sorry for waking you... you should sleep more Vladimir."

he refused to look up at the man. He was probably irritated with Daemon's outbursts and sudden emotional changes. The tiles of the floor were very interesting this morning.

Vladimir blinked his eyes open and looked at Daemon and kissed his cheek gently, not caring about the sweat. He was tired, yes, but he could never be angry with Daemon after he's going to be giving him a child. "I might be tired, but I've never loved you any less. You're still my songbird." he said softly.

Daemon could feel his eyes watering and he blinked back the tears quickly. He turned himself around and hugged Vladimir as best he could. He buried his face in the man's neck. "I'm sorry... I'm trying.. I really am trying to not take everything out on you... I'm so sorry you have to put up with this.." he sounded so pathetic in his own ears, his voice taking on the submissive tone it always did when Vladimir was angry at him, though that was rarely.

Vladimir purred as he wrapped his arms around Daemon and he cradled his pregnant lover. "I know, I know...and that's one of the reasons why I can't get mad at you. You're trying so hard and I am too." he replied softly, kissing Daemon's hair gently on between some of his words in a loving manner.
