Daemon nodded and went to stand up. He used the table heavily and his knees popped. He winced but stood up and sat back down in the chair he had been occupying. "I agree with that. I would prefer that he or she is safely born.. Ah.. but, may i have my food? The baby keeps kicking.."

Vladimir nodded and quickly stood to bring the steak over onto the table in front of Daemon. "I-I hope it's still warm enough to be enjoyable. If not, I can heat it up for you." he said softly as he sat in the chair beside Daemon.

Daemon shook his head and began to cut into the steak, loving how it was still slightly red. He ate the whole steak in a couple minutes and smiled contently. "It was still warm my love, I enjoyed it. Do we have anything sweet?"

Vladimir stood to check the freezer. "We still have a few ice cream cakes if you want some of those." he replied.

"Yes pl-"

Daemon let out a small grunt and held onto his stomach. He shivered and looked to Vladimir. "Love... how will I know when the baby is coming?"

"Well...um...in women, their water breaks and they feel contractions in the lower half of their body. I suppose in your case, the baby would keep kicking and find a means of escape. Why?" Vladimir replied casually.

Daemon let out a groan and grabbed his belly. "I think it's fuckin' here... " He panted out and gripped his shirt.

Vladimir widened his eyes at this and immediately was at Daemon's side. He took Daemon to the guest room and had him lay down. "I'm going to give you some anesthesia." he said softly as he pulled the machine over and brought the mask over Daemon's face. "When you wake up...our baby will be in your arms." he said softly.

Daemon nodded and was thankful for the anesthesia. He had already began to sweat from the cramping and pain. He looked sleepily at Vladimir as the gas began to take hold of his conscience. He let out a small noise before he fell into a deep sleep.

Vladimir leaned down and kissed Daemon's forehead just before his lover fell into a deep slumber, then he pulled his hands away from the mask and left it there secured to Daemon's face as he pulled over a silver table holding surgical tools that he needed. He first drew lines with a black marker along the area that he needed cut and used a surgeon's knife to cut open Daemon's stomach and he used the same tool to cut open the placenta, then he set the knife down on the table and slid his hands inside Daemon to pull out the fully developed infant who didn't immediately cry upon being pulled out. After he cut the umbilical cord and began cleaning the baby, however, the new baby boy let out a few small cries and began crying longer after Vladimir had cleared his airways.

He then laid the baby down on the bed where he could fuss without getting hurt and he closed up Daemon using staples to hold his skin together and cleaned his hands in the sink in the bathroom before returning back to Daemon to remove the gas mask and he shut off the machine. He had awhile until Daemon would awaken, so he picked up the baby boy back into his arms and he sat in the chair at the bedside. Now that he actually was able to get a good look at the boy, he became emotional and was brought to tears as he saw the boy had opened his eyes and was looking right at him. He had one eye that was the same color as Daemon's and the other was the same color as Vladimir's. This was a living piece of both him and Daemon.

"Our baby boy..." he said softly as he continued to stare down at the newborn who was looking around as much as he could in his bundle.
