"It probably will. He's still pretty new and his hair might change color by the time he gets older. His eyes will probably stay that way." Vladimir suggested. He knew human infants start off with one hair color and usually their hair changes color when they grow older.

I think I may have gave him a little too much or I just fed you guys too much today.. " He swayed just a bit and tried to steady himself by leaning completely on VLaidmir.

Daemon nodded and turned around to give the baby to Vladimir. He handed him over gently and kissed his forehead before he slowly made his way to the door. The room was titled to him, so he kind of walked a bit sideways to compensate. He grabbed the door frame and used the wall to get to their shared room. He flopped on the bed and buried his face in the pillow. His world spun but he managed to focus his eyes. "Oh great...." He murmured as he laid his forearm over his eyes.

Vladimir held Nathaniel close and he watched Daemon kiss the little one's forehead before leaving the room. He followed Daemon close, ready to grab him if he felt the need to, and he followed Daemon all the way to the bedroom. He sat in the chair by the bed with Nathaniel still wide awake in his arms and he watched Daemon closely, watching him sleep as he rocked Nathaniel back and forth in his arms. He felt terrible that he underestimated the amount of blood Daemon gave, and he knew that he was going to have to deal with the plain taste of bagged blood for awhile until Nathaniel was old enough to go hunting...or until him and Daemon finally decided it was time that Daemon be turned into a vampire. It would help, since whatever blood Daemon took in would regenerate itself the same way that human blood does for a period of time before he would need more. The regeneration was much faster as well.

Daemon had passed out on the bed once he was comfortable. It had been a long while since he had any sort of dream. And even longer since he had a nightmare. His eyes flicked back and forth behind his eyelids and his breathing began to pick up. He turned on his side, back to Vladimir and he gripped the sheets where the vampire would be sleeping during the night. He let out a whimper and curled on himself. His nails clawing at the blanket and his eyes screwing shut. His breathing became labored and he let out a whisper of "Please..." before a mumbled mess of words. A small groan of pain passed his lips, followed by cries of pain. "Please stop... Im sorry... no.. Please stop! Vladimir! Help!" Daemon's body shook with sobs and pain.

Vladimir stood quickly and sat on the bed where he usually was. With one arm still holding Nathaniel, he reached over and pulled Daemon close before stroking his lover's hair slowly.

"Hush...I'm right here, my dear." he said softly as he stroked Daemon's long locks. It had been a long time since Daemon slept long enough to have a dream, even longer to have a night terror. He rubbed Daemon's back slowly, wanting to comfort Daemon as much as he could with one arm busy.

Daemon let out a gasp and his eyes snapped open. He clutched onto Vladimir's shirt and buried his face in the man's neck, sobbing into the skin and dampening the man's shirt with his tears. He sniffled and hiccuped. He grabbed the man's shirt tighter and continued to let small sobs escape his lips as he tried to calm down. The hand that ran through his hair and now along his back was doing a lot to calm him faster. He sniffled and pressed himself to the man. "I-I'm so sorry... Please... Please don't make me leave.. I'll be good.. I love you Vladimir... I promise.." He sniffled.

Vladimir continued to comfort his partner as he sobbed into his shirt, then he blinked at what came after. It was usually the same, Daemon would get emotional and beg him not to leave him or to throw him out because he felt guilty for having such a reaction. Vladimir turned his head and kissed Daemon's cheek repeatedly, then his forehead. "I'm not ever going to leave you, my star...you are too precious to me and I vowed I would stay by your side for eternity."
