Vladimir had to admit, seeing Daemon cry at the thought of Nathaniel being afraid of being alone was quite adorable. Of course, he felt bad as well that Nathaniel would have such a dream, but Daemon was much better at being that emotional, nurturing type ever since he carried Nathaniel in his stomach for all those months. The first time he felt Nathaniel's heartbeat, Daemon burst into tears and cradled the little bump in his stomach.

Nathaniel's lips curved into a smile and immediately he beamed as he returned the Eskimo kiss and even chuckled as his forehead was kissed before he nuzzled once again into Daemon's chest. "Thank you, mommy. I feel so much better.~"

Daemon smiled. "good. I'm glad you feel better my little angel." He gently wiped the remaining tears from Nathaniel's cheeks and kissed each cheek. "Remember mommy and daddy will never leave you. And if you get lost, mommy will come find you, no matter where."

Nathaniel nodded and looked back at Vladimir. "Daddy...will you come find me too?"

Vladimir immediately gave a warm smile and reached over to ruffle Nathaniel's bedhead a little. "I will always be right behind your mommy whenever you get lost. We're a family. Families always stay together, and you are my flesh and blood as much as you are your mommy's. No matter where you go, we will always be able to find you."

Nathaniel nodded and snuggled into his mommy's chest where he soon went back into a quiet slumber, curled up in Daemon's arms.

Daemon smiled and hugged Nathaniel close, even after the child fell asleep. It took him a good five minutes of Nathan just sleeping before his nerves calmed and he felt that the child was safe once more. He gently laid the boy down on his bed and pulled the covers around him, tucking him in. He brushed the boy's hair out of his face and placed a kiss on Nathan's forehead.

"Sleep sound my vampire... You're safe here." He stood up and it was only then that he realized what he did.

"Oh my god.. Vladimir, why didn't you stop me from leaving the room naked?" He hissed lowly so he didn't wake up his son.

Vladimir gripped Daemon's hand and walked with him quietly out of Nathaniel's room to return to their own bedroom where he closed the door behind them before taking off the robe he had grabbed. "It's good that one of us can be the "mama bear" though. I'm not sure I could do all of that on my own, as much as I'm proud of our son and as much as I love him." he said.
